2017 Reading Challenges
date
newest »

I don't think I'm going to do an official challenge this year. I found myself not reading the books I really wanted because they didn't fit in with the challenge. I like your idea of setting some personal reading goals like finish off a series or read more books by female authors. I also want to set a goal of writing a review for every book I read in 2017.
I think I am going to pick and chose my own goals. I definitely want to read through a bunch of the books I already own but haven't read yet. And I feel like there are so many series that I read book 1 of and loved but never followed up and read the rest of the series.
I find it hard to resist a list that I can check things off of though. :D

If anyone is interested: http://novelknight.com/2017-beat-back...

I also want to go through my own to read list as it seems to grow instead of shrink each year. And some Kindle reading that I've been adding to over the past few years.
And now I'm freaked out!

Have you seen any other interesting ones?
are you going to partake in a reading challenge this year?
Feel free to keep track of your own reading goals/challenges for the year in this thread.
I might keep my eyes on these but I also might somewhat roll my own. i.e. read at least 10 of the unread books that I already own; read at least 5 follow-up books in series that I've started but haven't finished, read at least x number of books from the 1001 books to read before you die list.
