You should add it as a new edition combined with the previously published ones. As author you can then set it to be the default edition, so people searching for it or looking at your profile will see the new edition first.
Thank you. That makes sense. One more question, please - to combine with the previously published ones, I ask a librarian here, correct? Thank you!
You can combine books yourself, from your profile page. Just be very careful you're only combining editions of a single book.Simpler is if you go to the existing edition of the book, and drop down the "More Details" just under the publisher info (below the description) you get an "add a new edition" that will add one already combined.
Or you can post here too, that works. It only takes a second for a librarian to do. Whichever option you're more comfortable with.
Thank you again. I just did that and it worked perfectly except for one thing. The series name changed slightly and the old series name still shows. Is there a way to change that? Here is the new listing I just created for reference: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... Thank you!
Heh, this turned out more complicated than I expected to answer. The book seems to be in two series: Charmed in Vegas (where it's #2) and Shifters in Vegas (where it's #1). If it's only supposed to be in one, which one? and with which number?
If you want Shifters in Vegas to be the primary one (the one that shows up on the book page, they can be reordered.
If the entire series is changing name, I can change the series, but I'm not sure which one and what to (and add a note "Previously known as....")
As with titles, the previous editions keep their original series names in their per-edition titles, but the automatically replaced version on the book page will show the new series title.
Thanks again! I really appreciate your help! The new edition is Shifters in Vegas #1. It would be great if the listing could reflect that.
Originally, this title was part of a multi-author series (Charmed in Vegas) that is now about to disband. From Jan. 2017, it will only be part of my own, single author series (Shifters in Vegas, #1). I hope that makes sense.
Thank you again!
Ok, got it. It's now still in both series, but Shifters in Vegas is first.
Because all the old editions (of all the books) will still be listed, the other series listing is still valid, for people who want to shelve those editions (because that's how they read them.) Also the old editions will keep their existing series titles, if they have them.
Hello again,Now that the new edition of this book is live, I tried setting that edition as the default here on Goodreads. However, when I do a search for this title, it still brings me to the old edition. Can you help me set the new version as the default?
The new edition is with author Anna Lowe only and has a single man on the cover. The old edition has 2 authors and a couple on the cover.
Thank you for your help!
Only authors and staff can do that. If the steps outlined here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... don't work, you'll need to contact support.
Yay! That seems to have worked. (I am the author). One thing remains: there are 2 identical listings of both editions of the book - I think because I created a listing when the book went up for preorder and then GR automatically made one when the book went live. Should we delete the duplicates or just leave them be?
Thank you so much! It is so great to be able to post here and get help so quickly. I really appreciate it.
:)
Anna
I deleted the new edition's duplicate. Of the other two:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is ebook, published April 25, 2016
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is Kindle, published April 26, 2016
Unless the details are wrong, they are not duplicates.

This book as it currently exists will soon be removed from publication and I will re-publish it under a new publishing house with a new cover. Is it fine for me to create a new listing for the new version? As I understand it, Goodreads leaves up all previous versions as their own listings. Correct?
Thank you!
Anna
