I have just finished another one, Christine, and it was just as good as the others! It was a great historical novel with a tangled love story: The House at Tyneford The House at Tyneford by Natasha Solomons

Thanks!

Thanks again for the great picks!

Fran | 12278 comments Camille, I managed to fit in one more, Tutti Frutti, one of your new picks for me. It was a spicy little story, lol. I liked it, but wish it had been a little longer and the story expanded a bit. Thanks for the picks! I hope to read more of them in the coming months :)

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Christine,
I finished two more and really liked both of them: Just Like Heaven Just Like Heaven (Smythe-Smith Quartet, #1) by Julia Quinn and Simply Irresistible Simply Irresistible (Chinooks Hockey Team, #1) by Rachel Gibson . Both of these were very good reads and authors that I always enjoy.

I have four more started but don't know if I will manage to finish any more by the end of the month. They will get done, though, just perhaps not in time!

Thanks for the great recs!

Sandra | 712 comments Hi Pamela, thanks for all the great pics. There was some great ones in there!

Absolute Beginners (Absolute, #1) by S.J. Hooks - Great story. I read the 2nd one aswell (cause you just HAVE to!!). Different than the norm. An inexperienced geeky professor and a wild student. It was just a really sweet story!

Insatiable (Insatiable, #1) by J.D. Hawkins - Really enjoyed this. The 2nd one was better (just had more going on).

Rough (Chicago Underground, #1) by Skye Warren - Not great. Started good but the writing wasn't the best.

My Best Friend's Brother (Soulmates, #2) by Hazel Kelly - Didn't enjoy this one either. I read the first one in Dec and thought it was great. Just couldn't get into this one.

Divorced, Desperate and Delicious (Divorced and Desperate, #1) by Christie Craig - This was great.

Anything but Minor (Balls in Play, #1) by Kate Stewart - Really enjoyed this one.

After We Fall by Melanie Harlow - Thought this was a bit drawn out. Should have been shorter.

Dirty Wicked Lust by Amanda Heartley - Enjoyed this one too.

RoomHate by Penelope Ward - Couldn't get into this one either.

Danger in Paradise by Katie Reus - Just fantastic!!

Pretend You're Mine by Lucy Score - Well, I laughed, I cried, and got so mad at times at Luke Garrison!! I don't usually like unnecessarily cruel hero's, but for some reason, I loved this one!

Derailed (Clayton Falls, #1) by Alyssa Rose Ivy - This one was just a bit boring.

Wait for Me (Against All Odds, #1) by Elisabeth Naughton - Absolutely loved this one. Can't wait to read the next one!!

Hello Aneerah. I got to 2 of your recommendations this month. It feels like it has been forever since I read them both near the beginning of the month. Anyways I read The Goal (Off-Campus, #4) by Elle Kennedy and Before We Kiss (Fool's Gold, #14) by Susan Mallery . Both were just okay for me. Definitely not my favorites in either series. However, I love both of those series, and it was a treat to be able to jump back into them, so thank you so much. I have quite a few of the books you recommended that I'm hoping to read soon. Life has just been crazy recently, and I've been in a bit of a slump where I only want to read a few specific books. Thanks so much for your choices!

Hey Leigh,

thanks for the awesome picks! I managed to read a few:
Bully my favorite of this month, loved it!
Wait for Me really enjoyed it
Forgotten Sins listened to the audio and didn't like the whiny voice, but enjoyed the story, so I'll actually read the second book in this series
Carolina Heart quite nice, but too short for me to really fall in love with the characters
Nowhere but Here didn't like it

Ok so I had a really weird reading month this month and while I thought I was going to get to sooooo many of the books on this list I really only got to one and that one just right under the wire. That being said I LOVED Naked in Death ★★★★★. I haven't read it in 20 years and remembered basically nothing about it. I remember when it first came out and I was on a huge Nora Roberts kick at the time. I was 15 and just getting into reading romance. But as it was Nora Roberts' new side project I was in. I only read the first couple and then kinda drifted away. This was a great reminder of why I should go back and really get into the series now. I loved this book!

Also I'll probably be reading a number of these this next month as I have them for various challenges. Lick is next up and about to be started here in a few minutes and I'll definitely be reading Summer Knight this month too. :)

MountainKat | 31598 comments Hi Aminko! Sorry I didn't post sooner, but I did read several picks and really enjoyed them! One I read in December - I couldn't help myself. =)

Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer by Candi Kay 12.31.16
Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton 1.18.17
Crashing the Boards: Seattle Sockeyes Hockey by Jami Davenport 1.24.17
Rules of Contact by Jaci Burton 1.30.17

Rules of Contact of was probably my favorite, but Cream of the Crop was really good too! Thanks for the great picks!

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1512 comments @Shelby - I'm glad you enjoyed your re-read of Naked in Death. It is a great (and long) series.

I hope you like Lick. I liked it so much I bought and started book 2 immediately after finishing.

Happy Reading!
