This was fun to read. There are four little character sketches; three of well known characters from the series and one of the ‘historical’ magical creatures expert, Silvanus Kettleburn. The sketches read like wikipedia entries of real people, but Rowling’s humor and inventive imagination shines through. Much as I enjoyed the biographies of my favorites, the best part was the author’s comments on her creative process.

Hard to turn down when the price was only 1.99 on amazon. But I've noticed, the price has gone up.
