Announcing the 2017 PBT Challenges -- updated with Group Stair

Jennifer, you do not need to decide the High Notes challenge books in advance.
Annapi, no, all of the books on the series step do not need to be from the same series. They all just need to be books from any series, and can be any numbered book in that series (so, they do not all have to be the start of the series).
AJ, to compete in the challenges, you just need to participate! Most members start a personal tracking thread where they keep track of reads for the PBT Challenges as well as any other reading challenges they are participating in. We keep these threads in the "Member Challenge Tracking 2017" folder, so feel free to check out how some members track and then start your own thread :)
For everyone, these challenges are for fun and while we have some guidelines to give them structure and uniformity, they are largely based on the honor system. They do not come with huge prizes, just the satisfaction of completing them and maybe some participation points. So, have fun and I promise the Rules Police will not be inflicting corporal punishment ;)

Thanks, I'll post first for sure. I am going to print out the pertinent info and work on it tomorrow and/or Monday. I have very little driving to do for those two days (hooray!).
ETA I might even choose tonight since we're having a quiet night.

Oops! Sorry, Cora! You are correct. I should have added the tags in, but somehow, it just didn't occur to me! Thank you for trying to add your book and for mentioning it. I will go add the tags now!

You can set up your own thread for your challenges.
Also, there are already threads set up, one for Climbing the PBT Stairs and one for Hitting the PBT High Notes. I can find links.
