Looking for a book with similar angst

Newbie here!

I love the New Species series and I especially loved "Justice".

I loved the angst level in this book so if anyone knows of any other books where the hero tries to deny the heroine and is caught by heroine with another woman that would be great. However I don't like cheating so the OW has to be for show. I like my heroes to be devoted but unintentionally hurting heroine.
