SOLVED. Middle Grade book about two brothers who work in a cemetery. [s]

Two brothers get a job as groundskeepers in a cemetery. The older brother has a sick sense of humor and writes morbid poems about about how the dead people met their end, he's trying to find a last name for every letter of the alphabet. The owner of the cemetery (whose last name starts with a Z) is involved in some sort of Satanic ritual. This would have been published in the 1980s or earlier.
