Well, I sat down last night to read Pulling the Rug, thinking, "Yay! A short book to front load my reading challenge with."
Well, a couple of kleenexes later, I'm about halfway through and had to stop because my gut couldn't take that much punching at once.

Damn, you do bleak like nobody's business. But I gotta say, Mr. Smith might have been the biggest punch so far. Love that story.
