⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) | 16 comments I just finished Start Me Up by Victoria Dahl last night and the only reason I'm mentioning it now, and not saving it for my month end list is because I had abandoned this series previously. I needed a geek/nerd for a challenge and this book came up. It actually surprised me! I think it is a solid 3.5 star read!

Great. It always nice to find a book that surprises you especially if you have abandoned the series. Glad you enjoyed!

Finished on April 4th Fool Moon (The Dresden Files, #2). I recommend the series to my hubby. I think he'd like it. I'm really enjoying Harry and the mysteries.

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) | 16 comments My daughter asked me for a ride to the library yesterday...and of course I walked out of there with more than I went for! My request for Furious 7 was in, and I wound up getting it and Queen of Katwe for movies, and in books I got Star Wars: Kenobi (which I was planning to read in May anyway!), StarCraft: Evolution, and XXX: Return of Xander Cage - The Official Movie Novelization. My son got himself 4 movies and my daughter walked out with a bag full of books as well!

That's the best thing. I went to my library today just to pick up some items on hold and I ended up coming out with more books and movies then I had planned. ^_^ Even if I don't read them or watch them I have no regrets. I can just return or borrow again.

That is a good question. I think I've only done up to three books in a row, read one, picked up another and so on. Not had the issue, but that many. Well she does mix it up with Audio books in their. That has to help.

Hi ! I don't.I love reading period everything and anything.I love reading books in a series so when I find a author I like I order whatever the library has in its series and sit down and read one after another an I am fortunate to be a fast reader.Like Angela says I do try and break things up with audio books as I do a lot of computer work I just open overdrive in my browser and listen while I work. Then their are the blog tours with reviews to break things up to and I love my kindle e-books as well.Reading for me is my addiction as I don't have any vices other than books and plants as I have an amazing green thumb.I don't watch a lot of Tv although I do love movies and popcorn and I do like music I can live without but I don't ever want to live without books.I am fortunate that we have an amazing library in our small town in upstate New York and an amazing online burrowing system that is free so if our library doesn't have something it's shipped from another to our library free of charge which is fantastic. Between our chamber of commerce and library funds the library pretty much orders anything you want to see in the system whether its e-books hardcovers and paperbacks within reason of course.Don't get me wrong amazon gets enough of my money each month in purchased books as well .And after being married 26 years the hubby knows what keeps me happy so books are showing up on my kindle all the time as little gifts given with love.(grins lol) They keep me sane ...Happy Reading all !

I am working on reading all her books on my wish list this year .She is an author I need to get caught up on.I just get side tracked with all the new releases I want to read and then at the same time trying to work on my TBR pile and then of course I find a new series I liked and then dive into reading that series.Always sidetracked I tell you LOL

Joelle wrote: "Always sidetracked"

I know that feeling. I finally read Nalini's Guild Hunter series last year and am all caught up now. With the Pay-Changeling world I'm working on all those novellas I missed. So many great books.

This year I'm working on The Dresden Files and Jane Yellowrock series, but I still have all the new releases I want to read or those review books I requested, but haven't read yet. I've got four of those review books to finish that I'm behind on. I'm always getting sidetracked... ^_^

Summer is coming soon and my reading time will dwindle when my son is out of school, so I can understand life and the goals we have taking away from reading, but its great you are working hard with running training. I have a few family members who do marathons and runs for fun. Great goals! Keep at it. ^_^
