Finished my very fist Jim Butcher novel Storm Front. I was impressed and having a male POV was intriguing. A very different perspective then what I'm use to. I loved the plot and mystery. Enjoyed Harry.

Finished Own the Wind (Chaos, #1) by Kristen Ashley in two days. She is new to me. I liked how she did the POV's on a few different characters and that the motorcycles club is clean.

Carianne Carleo-Evangelist | 10 comments Was off library books for a bit when nothing came in. And now a flood. Just finished Amy Phillips Penn's Elaine's (amazing if you're into NYC history or NYC food history) and now Sole Sister about women runners.

I've had that flood of books come in from the library. I've gone on a shopping spree you could say online with my library picking out books I've wanted to read and then they all come in at once. ^_^ Glad you enjoyed your books.

Finished Vampire Most Wanted by Lynsay Sands. This is a fun series that I have enjoyed. I've also reread a few of the books in the series. Currently working on getting caught up in it.

Just picked up Fool Moon today from my library. I've got a stack of books to read now, but I'm excited to keep reading the Dresden Files series. I actually asked my hubby if he had heard or read a Jim Butcher novel. He hasn't yet, but he was looking at Storm Front, who know I might get him to read them too ^_^.

Finished Heated Pursuit (Alpha Security #1) by April Hunt. So, I felt like I read a totally different book then everyone else. I had so many issues with this one, like the start and the lead female Penny. I did like the Alpha Security Team members and their was some action/suspense. After I finished I said "thank goodness that's over." =/

I've seen this one, Riptide. Did you enjoy? This month was slow for library reading too. I had a surprise visit from my parents. That cuts into my reading. I don't get any reading done when family visits.

I finished in one day The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire by Molly Harper. I needed light, sweet, and some humor. I'm also reading a review copy of Ride Rough and it deals with some deep issues, so I decided to take a break and do some light romance reading. I liked Ms. Harper. They are always fun and easy reads. This is my last library read for the month of Feb.

J L's Bibliomania (jlsbibliomania) Loving all these end of month updates.

I also had a good reading month in February, though I didn't review much because I was busy preparing for a major family celebration.

As I reported previously, during a 3 day period at the turn of the month, I binge read a few classic Tamora Pierce while camping on the couch with a cold. Alanna: The First Adventure, In the Hand of the Goddess, The Woman Who Rides Like a Man, and Lioness Rampant

I also finished
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda as an audiobook
Sabriel
Lirael
and
Abhorsen

Review of the Garth Nix trilogy posted here: http://jlsbibliomania.booklikes.com/p...

This brings me to 15 library books in the first 2 months of 2017

No worries on the reviews. You will get to them when you can. I don't review a book after I read it. It sometimes days or a week later. I like to binge read when I'm sick too. Great job in Feb. ^_^

Yup, I hate the waiting! The major series I'm working on is the In Death series by J.D. Robb, and I'm 35 books in currently. Problem is, books 36, 37, 37.5, and 38 are all checked out right now! I'm on the waiting list for them, so I hope they get returned soon!

Angel - I am liking them ok. They are not very realistic in that someone is always trying to kill someone, mostly for personal reasons. And the romance happens really fast. They don't know each other very well, less than a week. I just finished the 4th one today, coming out next week and it's the best so far. They are 3-3.5 star reads. Fun, easy, not too demanding.
