Carrie Adair | 15 comments I read (started and finished) four library books this month, but not all of my reviews have been written or posted yet. These are the books I read:

The Color of Earth by Kim Dong Hwa - review
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell - review
True Letters from a Fictional Life by Kenneth Logan - review
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling - review

No worries on the reviews. You can get them done anytime within the year. Great start to the challenge. ^_^

So this is a slow start since library books mostly don't count for the COYER challenge. I've read a few. But I have a pile of ARCs so it will be March before I hit the library really hard.

^_^ That's ok. At least you fit in a few for January.

Thank you.

Turns out I wasn't quite done. I came down with a cold and spent the last two days of the month binge-reading on the couch.

So I revisited a few classic Tamora Pierce. In a 2 1/2 day span I read Alanna: The First Adventure, In the Hand of the Goddess, The Woman Who Rides Like a Man, and Lioness Rampant

I thought I did this but I guess not. I only read 2 library books in January, very slow for me but I've been focused on COYER which does not include library books.

Brighter Than the Sun by Darynda Jones

The COYER challenge is a good one to participate in.
Brighter Than the Suns and undertow look good. I've had Darynda Jones on my TBR for sometime. One day I'll get to her.
Good job on get a few library books in for the month of Jan. ^_^
