I unintentionally removed Windwitch from my shelf by sending a note to the publisher. I still intend to read & review it once I can get it from the library. Hopefully, in January, since it already changed my ratio.

I'm also going to work on these old archived books that have been on my shelf for years and didn't know I could still review and get my average up until I started doing this challenge!
1. At the beginning of the month, post any/all of the following:

Truth (2013)

Smart, I need to get on that. But you know what. I have some really OLD ones that got archived. Twelve to be exact. I'm going to work on those over the this next year to get them off my shelf too. Maybe do one a month or something. I'd like to be able to get my average up.

My Feedback Ratio is 4% so this challenge will really help meto tackle both my feedback ratio and my NG Shelf.

This year one of my new year's resolutions is to finally reach that elusive 80% feedback ratio (and to stop hitting that request button so much...well maybe)
As my resolutions typically only last a day or two I thought I'd better make a start so I've posted my first review for

Nancy Helen and Kristie, since I see rated graphic novels on both of your shelves, I thought I would give you first stab at the gift code.
Nicole, I couldn't see all of your bookshelves for some reason even though you are my friend. If you do read graphic novels this one is up for you too.
I only want one thing from this. The author asked for an honest review for his graphic novel with the gift.
The book is called Quantum Vibe: Venus 23 by Scott Bieser.
I just thought that the NetGalley challenge would be the best place to ask this of anyone. If you are interested, you can PM me and I'll send you the gift code to read on your Kindle. You will need a Kindle Fire to get the full experience of the graphic novel out of it. If any of you aren't interested please tell me anyone you know of who likes to read and review graphic novels.
Thank you. :)

My plan is to get to my January pubbed books and then start working through the older ones.

I started off at 2 % and now am up to 33 %!! No idea how I did that??, lol. I only submitted 4 ratings / opinions but no reviews because they had been archived and frankly I can't remember much about most of those 6 that were archived.

Steven was reading The Bear and The Nightingale and really enjoying it!
(I can't add more books.... I just got back from my reading slump, I need to have care not to pressure myself to avoid stop reading again)

Sonia - Glad your slump is over. I completely understand not putting pressure on yourself. I'm in a bit of a slump myself where I'm busy and just not really interested in picking up books, even though I'm enjoying the ones I'm reading.
I'm also interested in The Bear and The Nightingale. I've been hearing good things about it and will look forward to reading your thoughts, Karen.

On the other hand, I was really happy to discover that the kindle app for android was as good as having a kindle, so, no more problems in that font.
Now, if only amazon decided that shipping kindle paperwhite to Portugal was a good idea :D

b: What books are on your NG shelf

c: Your updated shelf count
d: Your updated books to read

Then start a new post for the next month!
Do you ever get so caught up in your reading that you don't want to stop to write your reviews?
Thinking about that, it was decided we need a "Review Weekend", once each month, set aside to write those reviews you've been not doing in favor of reading!
Review Weekends will vary randomly each month and is meant to be a time set aside to review. Take one, or both days and get caught up on reviews so you can spend the rest of the month reading!!
The next Review Weekend is set for January 14/15
**When linking your reviews, please link only to the book(s) here at GoodReads. At this time, linking to a personal blog is not allowed. Thank you!
