Wow! This year, my reading has gone down, I think mostly due to reading reviews (and news). I was impressed last year and the year before at my overall count reaching 100! :-) I didn't expect to fall so far short this year. :-) But I continue to want to keep up with the reviews, so no regrets. :-)

Thanks guys. I has been fun seeing those numbers grow.

The quilt is not actually mine. It belongs to a friend. Her mother made it many years ago and it has started to fall apart and I am going to try to repair it. Her mother has a terminal diagnosis and I am going to try and replicate her mother's stitches and restore it as a memory of her mother's loving stitches and the time she took to make it. It is not an heirloom quilt... just a plain ole quilt made with love from a loving hand and is irreplaceable. It doesn't get any better than that.

So... How would you rate Mr. Darcy - A Man of Honour?

I don't know that I can rate it. I am still processing the story.

I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone, Darcy was taken with Jane, Mrs. Bennet was pushing Mr. Bingley on Elizabeth, Elizabeth was drawn to Darcy and… Caroline was betrothed to our dear Colonel and... and she was NICE!!! especially to our Lizzy. OMG! The world must be coming to an end. LOL!!

Oh-My-Gosh! This was so strange to see this side of Jane ... man that hurt. Here lately we are seeing more and more stories with a mean Jane. I'm still trying to get over the ending.

I suppose it should be a 4 stars rating. It made me believe... as much as it hurt ... and I actually liked Caroline. A WIP also has errors but an editor could take care of them and trim it down for the redundancies and shape it up.

I agree. That's why I gave it 4.5. It was sorta confusing to my sensibilities but that's kinda why I liked it. But the errors made is less than 5. I agree on the ending too.
