Updated post 873 - finished the challenge! With the completion of The Stone Sky on 8-25 and Rainbow's End on 10-25, I've now read 15 of 15 in the challenge. Yay!

Just completed my 4th #1 (white) - Come Sundown by Nora Roberts. I always enjoy reading Roberts' books. This one was not quite as interesting for me - I just didn't really connect with the characters. I also figured out the mystery pretty early on, but it was still a good read. Worth reading! 3.5 stars1/15 - Round 4

Completed my 4th #15 (describe color) - The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan. This would have gotten a higher rating from me but for the haikus at the beginning of each chapter. I get it, it's about the god of poetry, but it's annoying. Other than that, the book is entertaining, and I'm glad someone else is as horrified of Indiana as I am;) Worth reading. 3.5 stars2/15 - Round 4

A special moment for me, since this is the first challenge ever, here on goodread, that I completed succesfully.
Hopefully the start of many more!

2. Read a book with "Pink" or any shade of pink in the cover (rose, magenta, salmon, etc...).
3. Read a book with "Red" or any shade of red in the cover (maroon, brick, scarlet, etc...)
4. Read a book with "Orange" or any shade of orange in the cover (apricot, ginger, carrot, etc...).
5. Read a book with "Yellow" or any shade of yellow in the cover (blond, chartreuse, canary, etc...).
6. Read a book with "Green" or any shade of green in the cover (sage, lime, jade, etc...).

Just completed my 4th #8 (dark blue) - Into the Water by Paula Hawkins. I appreciate Hawkins' character development! Similar to Girl on a Train, in this book, she presents the multiple characters in one way, then develops them over the course of the story until suddenly I'm feeling sympathy for a character I originally disliked, and vice versa. For me, this book had a faster pace than Girl on a Train. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars3/15 - Round 4

Just completed my 4th #5 (yellow) - The Identicals by Elin Hilderbrand. Really solid, good book! The beginning was a bit slow to start, and the chapters in the point of view of the respective islands are a bit odd. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Nice storyline and interesting characters. They are bratty and annoying at the start, but really grew on me towards the end. Worth reading! 4 stars4/15 - Round 4
Just completed my 4th #12 (metallic) - The Fifth Doll by Charlie Holmberg. Another great fantasy from Holmberg! I wasn't a fan of the ending necessarily - I thought a bit more detail would have been helpful. But other than that, a very enjoyable read. Worth reading! 4 stars5/15 Round 4

Just finished my 4th #7 (light blue) - Quiet Meg by Sherry Lynn Ferguson. Nice, easy read. Far-fetched but most of these regency romances are like that. Worth reading. 3.5 stars6/15 - Round 4

Just completed my 4th #3 (Red) - The Summer Before the War by Helen Simonson. As enjoyable a book to read as watching an episode of Downton Abbey! I loved the characters and the writing! Definitely worth reading! 5 stars7/15 - Round 4

Just completed my 4th #10 (brown) - Cane River by Lalita Tademy. I appreciate that the author used her only family history as the outline for this tale of four generations of strong women. However, the writing was repetitive and a little simplistic. I liked the images and historical documents sprinkled throughout but some of them were difficult to read. Worth reading. 3.5 stars8/15 - Round 4
