Sofia | 7 comments Hello I am looking for a book. it was great book but I cant remember the name of that book. If anyone knows please can you help I want to reread the book. Thank you.

I've read a book that takes place in London or somewhere near there. Anyway there was this man that all he do was study but one day he dies by drowning. and he had a older brother. But what the older brother didn't know was that he was married to a young girl. he found out when the father of the girl send out a letter saying that the younger brother ruined her. The older brother didn't believe them so he went to see if it was true when he found the house he saw a girl tending to a garden and he assumed that she was a maid but when she said she wasn't and that she isn't ruined either. When the older brother was about to leave he heard a cry from upstairs. he followed the young girl up the stairs. The man demanded who was that child and she kept saying her younger sister but the little girl kept calling her mama. When the older brother finally relized that the baby girl was the daughter of his younger deseased brother he was shocked and he took them to the city to live with them. Then he married the young lady. When everything was going well people were looking from a map that the younger brother had hidden and the evil men were staking the young lady. In the end the older brother and the young lady married and living together and happy.

Sofia, please provide plot details (no spoilers) and the genre of the book you’re looking for in the Topic header, not something vague like "Help! can't remember this book". Someone is more likely to recognize your book.

When did you read this? Paper book, ebook, other format? Remember the cover? Author male or female? When is it set?
