Update: 15/4047. A book with an eccentric character
Tangled Vines: Greed, Murder, Obsession, and an Arsonist in the Vineyards of California by Frances Dinkelspiel (4 stars)
Just finished #46 (subgenre unk) - No Barriers: A Blind Man's Journey to Kayak the Grand Canyon by Erik Weihenmayer. This book was equal parts inspiration and challenge. Having had a traumatic experience in a kayak (nowhere close to white water), I had flashbacks as I read. But I was so inspired by the author's struggle and urge to succeed that I pushed through, and I'm so glad I did. The book is not perfect - the writing could have been tighter and edited quite a bit - but it is a good read! Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars15/30

19. A book about food Paleo Perfected: Smart New Strategies and Inventive Recipes for People Who Really Like to Eat

26. A book by an author from a country you've never visited - We Should All Be Feminists
Just completed #28 (wartime) - King's Cage by Victoria Aveyard. I'm really enjoying how this series is progressing! The first book seemed to be cobbled together from similar YA dystopian fantasy novels. But the second and now third books have matured the characters and storyline into something much better! Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars16/30

Just completed #32 (interesting women) - On Second Thought by Kristan Higgins. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! In particular, Higgins' description of dating and online dating for a woman in her thirties was spot on - it thoroughly stinks! My only criticism is that it all tied up a bit too neatly for me in the end. Otherwise, good book! Definitely worth reading! 4 stars17/30
