Aaliyah was walking slowly fast through the city. She dove each perfect trying to blend in. So far so good. She hope she didn't run into anybody who can tell she's human. Even though most could easily tell. She kept her head up some. Making her eyes look down. She couldn't get caught. The city was very busy which was an advantage and disadvantage at the same time. She didn't speak up. Her eyes would give her away. She had grabbed a pair of sunglasses from the sale table. She put it on her face. The sun was setting she had to get home to her brother.
Her eyes were going to give her away. She didn't have the health com in her eyes. She can't see in the dark either. Her heart rate was speeding. She was super nervous. She walked in the alley way that lead her to to her house. She then saw some people there. She backed away. She had to distract them knowing she was going to get turned. Her little brother had to stay safe. She took a shaky breath and went out of the alley way. She then turned down another one not knowing where she was.
She walked quickly looking down. She was super protective of her little brother and if he got hurt she would feel responsible. She ran throw her sunglasses down knowing she wouldn't be seeing anymore perfects or at least she thought she wouldn't see any. She ran into a person a perfect. She looked up and looked in his eyes and ran the past him trying to get away from him.
Her heart was racing. She was having a rush. She kept running not looking back. She stumbled along some trash cans. She was in a dead end. She was going to be turned. Her brother was safe that is all that matters right now.

He began humming as he walked, watching the setting sun in the west and began to grow excited. There was a look of satisfaction on his face as he thought of how he had told his father off before leaving; and his father had deserved it. Alec was sick and tired of his father always trying to control him. He wouldn't have any of that.
Alec had closed his eyes for only a moment when someone walked into him. He opened his mouth to tell them off but his voice caught in his throat when he looked into the girls eyes - she was a human. He broke out in a full grin as she ran past him and began bouncing on the balls of his feet before chasing after her at full speed.
How long had it been since he had chased down a human? He could hardly remember the last chase. His body surged with adrenaline and a laugh escaped his lips as he realized that the girl had run into a dead end.
"Well well," Alec said softly, "what have we here?"

Her ankles hurt. She winced at the pain figuring she sprained it. She didn't mean to hurt self. She was weak. She was showing weakness. She will be turned. She wasn't going to be turned. He didn't have the sleeping spray or mind control. He didn't. She hoped he didn't which he probably did like most perfects.
She got up slowly and fell. She looked up at him again. She looked down. One thing she knew was she wasn't going to be a puppet. "I'm not a puppet. I don't and won't ever be controlled." She didn't say another word. She smiled up at him not looking in his eyes. "I won't give up."
((Sorry so short busy))

"Of course you're not," he replied, a smirk now playing on his lips, "They never are sweetheart. Yet look at this world around you." Alec chuckled and grabbed her, wrapping his slender fingers around her bicep and yanking her harshly off the ground.
"You might as well give up, girl. Have you taken a look around you? Look at the boy who has you by the arm - I'm a perfect. You're walking in a city full of perfects. You're crazy to think that you'll end up any differently. You're crazy to have walked into this city."
Alec shook his head and laughed, the sound of his laughter cruel and cutting. He looked down at her, his grey eyes peering into hers. "You'll be controlled, and there's nothing you can do about it."

She didn't answer anything. Her faced wrinkled in the pain of him pulling her up. "Let go of me." She said. "I can and will fight." She retorted. She was started to tremble. She was afraid. She didn't want to be turn. "Your just a puppet." She said.
"There's more than you think of us. We will rise up and will take our world back" She shouted lowly. She couldn't reach to her ankles to grabbed the daggers. She wouldn't let him do this. "Humans can come back again." She said not looking up at him,
"I will not be controlled." She said then his eyes made contact with hers. She started to relax. She cursed herself. She soon started to fight it. "You'll have to try harder than that to control me." She said looking up at him. "You will not control me with this mind control power you supposedly have"

Alec smirked down at her, fighting back a chuckle when she started to relax. "Mind power I supposedly have? Dear girl, you let up for an instant and started to relax. Surely you must realize our powers aren't simply some made up story."
He paused for a moment, cocking his head to the side and peering at her curiously. "I wonder," he murmured quietly to himself, "what it would take to make you break."

"Mind control? Your not controlling me perfect that's because you can't." She said knowing she didn't have much time. She was about to kick him with her good ankle. She smiled softly. "You can't break me and there's nothing you can't use to break me." She said.
There as one thing. One thing her little brother but she wouldn't say that to him.

Alec smiled at her, but there was something off about it. It was by no means a genuine smile, but rather there seemed to be something about it. As if he knew something that she didn't. Some secret that made all the difference in the world.
"You're very resistant, I'll give you that," he said softly, a smile still playing on his lips, "But I do hope you realize that I can do more than talk," he murmured, moving closer to her.

He was smiling. He knew something. This wasn't good. If he knew sob her little brother. She would do anything to protect him. She wanted to say something but knowing she would give him away if she did that. She wouldn't. She bit her lip.
"I learned from my dad." She said. She had no chance if he kissed her. She would fall. She was already trembling. She made sure he couldn't get inside of her head but she was failing awfully at that. At least she was trying.

"All that responsibility is far too much for one person to bear. Especially a pretty girl like you," Alec murmured, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "That's not to say that being pretty makes you weak, not at all. I have no doubt in my mind that you're strong. How else would you have made it so long? What were you doing here? Searching for food or clothes?"
Alec sighed and shook his head, looking down at the ground for a moment instead of at her. "I actually feel kind of bad about all the perfects taking over, but you have to understand. We have to survive too. You understand that, don't you?" he asked softly, looking into her eyes.

Her plan was not to let the mind control to take over her. She relaxed even more not paying attention anymore. "No it's not easy taking care of your little brother on your own." She paused. "I don't like to beg or do anything like that and I'm strong and I would do anything for him. He's all I got left." She said. She realize she told him about her little brother.
She looked into his eyes still when he was talking. She was completely under his control now. Her eyes glazed over slightly. "I understand." She said as she stopped struggling.

He was quiet for a moment, a sad expression on his face. He knew that in order to keep her under his control he couldn't break character. She was harder to control than most humans, and she put up more of a fight than any girl he had ever encountered, but he didn't mind at all. He liked a good challenge and knew that in the end he would win.
"So what's your name? We really got off on the wrong foot here. The whole perfects and humans thing. We're not allowed to mix at all, and it really is a shame," he said softly with a sigh, "My name is Alec. Alec Payne."

She didn't move from her spot. She was falling deeper under his control. She could feel her mind and self control leaving. Soon after a bit it left and she was left with this feeling of nothing. She had to follow orders and would do so. She blinked her eyes some. She tired to fight it off but she couldn't do anymore. She was tired of fighting and doing all of it.
"My nic name is Lilly." He didn't ask for her real name yet. She wasn't going to tell him her real name unless he asked. "Nice to meet you." She said.

Alec loosened his grip on her bicep, instead slipping his hand into hers. He smiled down at her and took his other hand as well, lowering his head so that their foreheads were touching. Through all this he never broke his gaze, always keeping eye-contact with her. He wondered if that would have any effect on the extent to which he could control her.
"Lilly is a beautiful name. It's fitting for such a beautiful girl," he said with a smile.

He then took her hand. Her heart started to beat faster. His forehead against hers. She was losing focus. She was blushing knowing he's won. She wasn't order to do anything yet. She waited for him to say something. Deep down in side she knew this was wrong. But the old self was buried inside and there was nothing she could do about it.
"Thank you." She stammered. She smiled some more. She didn't say anything else.

Alec had to force himself not to laugh, seeing the profound effect that physical contact had on her. It seemed that she wasn't even resisting anymore. "You're blushing," he murmured, brushing a finger across her cheek with a light chuckle. "Why are you blushing?"
He gave her the most genuine looking smile in the hopes that it would get her to soften up anymore. "It makes you look even cuter," he said softly. He paused for a moment before leaning in and brushing his lips against her cheek. "But how about you tell me your real name, missy?"

She looked at him smiling. Her heart was racing now. He knew she was blushing. She bit her lip. Then running the finger across her cheek made her heart do flips over and over again. She looked into his eyes not wanting to move from them. "I don't know." She didn't know why she was blushing. She was just blushing.
She kept staring then he kissed her cheek. Her heart did summer salutes in her chest. Smiled at him. She didn't know her surroundings well. All she knew was she had to listen to him. She paused before saying something. "Anything for you." She told him. She would die for him now. "My name is Aaliyah." She said.

"Anything for me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "What a sacrifice that you're giving for me. It makes me feel special. Aaliyah is a very pretty name."
Alec paused for a moment, toying with an idea in his head. Maybe he could have some fun with this before he turned her in. "You said you'd do anything for me. Do you think you could...oh I don't know, maybe.." he trailed off, smiling down at her and hoping that she was eager to know what it was that he had to say, "kiss me?"

She darted out of the alley way. She had to tried. She collapsed because of her ankle. "No." She whispered. "No." She repeated. She failed her brother as she heard his screams. "You guys are sick people." She said. She failed him that's he only thing that went through her head. She looked at him.
"I will never become one of you. You made have controlled me for a few minutes but you don't nothing about me."'she said.

Alec stood for a moment and watched her dart out of the alley before calmly strolling after her, smirking once he saw her fall. "I actually am sorry about your brother," he said calmly, stopping over her. "I didn't know they were going to catch him. You probably don't believe me, but I swear that I am sorry about that."
He watched her curiously for a moment before once again curling his slender fingers around her bicep and yanking her up off the ground. "It's too late, Aaliyah. It's over and I'm taking them to change you as I speak," Alec said in an almost weary voice, walking in the direction that the sirens were coming from. "Things would have been much simpler if you had only kissed me. You wouldn't even have realize what's happening right now. You would have been...ah what do you call it...ah yes, blissfully unaware."

She wanted to cry. "I will not be changed and I will not be a puppet. You knew the whole time. You played me to get to him. He is only seven he doesn't even know my parents." She said. She wasn't going to cry.
"Now you can't control me anymore." She said. She knew it was possible he could get to her. How can she fight him if she can't look at him without falling under his control. She was going to get turned but she wasn't going to stopped fighting.

"I'm telling you Aaliyah, I honestly wasn't trying to get your brother. He's far too young. I only wanted you. I told you that I don't care about the rest of the surviving humans, only those crazy enough to wander into our cities."
Alec stopped a few feet away from her, not wanting to risk getting any closer to her and getting stabbed. "You know I can control you," he said softly, "and this time I won't play games. Once you're mine then you'll be mine for good, and I'll take you to get changed."

"And don't you think you bring my little brother into this. I'm not crazy. I'm trying to make sure we can live and not die off." She said at him angrily. She kept her gaze down making sure he couldn't look into her eyes.
She made one mistake when he stopped in front of her. She looked up. Her eyes wander to his. "You can't control me good enough." She said. She was getting weaker this time than before. She dropped the dagger out of her hand. "I'm not going to lose." She was going to look away and be safe. See didn't look away. She couldn't. She was falling under his control now. "You can't make me to be under your control." She said to reassure herself..

Alec looked at her curiously and pursed his lips as he thought. "I can make sure your brother doesn't get caught," he said slowly, thinking more about defying his father than saving her brother, "So long as in return you allow yourself to be changed."
He was quiet again for a moment, his lips curving up into a smile as her eyes met his and her dagger fell to the floor. "However I doubt I'm going to have to try and convince you for much longer, because you are going to lose. The sooner you accept that Aaliyah, the sooner we can both move on."

Then he was telling her she wouldn't make it. "I can and will fight...." Her voice trailed off as she looked into his eyes longer than should have. She couldn't break his gaze just like last time. Her heart started to race some. She tried fighting it but she couldn't. She was so tired from fighting it earlier. Her body grew less tense. She was almost under his control.
She wanted to go over to him and give up. She walked slowly over to him. Her eyes went back to the glaze coat they were again. Her mind was free to be controlled by him again. She looked at him waiting for a command. She didn't break his gaze.

"I mean I can get him out. Assuming we act fast and I get there before they do anything to him," Alec explained, "but there's no way that will happen if we stand here and you continue to try and fight me."
He opened his mouth to say something more before realizing that she was no longer fighting. She walked towards him, her eyes glazed over again, and he sighed, almost upset to see her this way. He held a lighter grip on her bicep and began taking her towards the center of the city, where the main government building stood.

She wanted to say something about the kiss but figured he'll say no now. "Alec my ankle." She whispered as the pain spread through. She wanted to scream but didn't do that. "It hurts really bad." She said. She looked so him hoping he wouldn't yell at her if she did anything wrong. She would still do anything for him.
She looked around the place. There was people everywhere and a big building. She didn't really know what was happing. She was to busy thinking about him touching her and the pain from her ankle. People laughed at the stupid human that was caught and how they were weak minded. She didn't care if they were laughing. After all she didn't care about anything but how he was touching her which made her cheeks turn red.

He looked over at her when he heard her say his name, and frowned after hearing what she said. After a moments debate Alec decided to pick her up to relieve the pain in her ankle. He swept his arm under her legs and continued to carry her towards the government building, ignoring the laughing and staring perfects around him.
"You're blushing again," Alec noted, not really seeing how pointing this out would do anything. While it was necessary to control humans to get them to change, their then lack of personality was a bit dry and uninteresting.

She waited for him to answer her. He never really answered her. He picked her up and her face turned a bright red. Her ankle felt better some but not much. She didn't complain about it because soon she would be a perfect. She looked up at him. "Where are we going?" She asked.
She didn't care if she was blushing. That was just showing she was under his control more than others. But to perfects that could mean something else. She didn't know the laws of the perfects yet. She did to even know anything that she could remember. She didn't realize that this was wrong to control people.

He raised an eyebrow at her and kept his smile intact, almost as if to ask her what could possible be better than being changed into a perfect. He returned his attention to the streets ahead of him, his pace slowing as they neared the government building. It was a tall building - at least one hundred stories high - and the entire place was lit in a mysterious green light. Guards stood post outside to ensure that no one who was unwanted would get in.
Alec walked up the guards, nodding his head as he drew near to them. "I have a human girl here who needs to be changed. Rumor has it that you have already found her young brother. It would appear as though the humans are getting careless, aren't they?" he asked with a smirk.
Neither guard responded, they merely looked at him and nodded, giving him permission to pass through. Repressing a sigh Alec continued on, walking through the government building entrance doors.

They came upon two guard who wouldn't smile. She looked at them weird. Who doesn't smile. Alec smile. Maybe they are having a bad day. She but her lip figuring Alec would be mad if she asked them why they don't smile. She looked at them with her glaze eyes. They were kind of creepy but she didn't say that either. She kept her mouth shut. She started to run through the reasons someone should smile. Maybe they just don't like smiling. She liked smiling. She was lost in thought about smiling.
As they walked into the building it was huge. Her mouth flew open as she looked around at the space. It was so clean and no one was there. They had people in a holding cell. She looked at the little boy. He was screaming for his sister. He slammed on the glass her eyes widen some but she didn't feel like fighting anymore. She was too far gone to fight. "Who's that little boy there." She asked. Her old self was trying to fight but nothing happened.

Alec chuckled a bit at the expression on her face when they entered the government building - it was as if she had never seen a building before. He didn't notice the little boy until she said something, but when he looked over he felt his heart sink a little. The resemblance between the two was striking, and it was horrible to realize that she couldn't even recognize the little brother she had fought so hard to protect.
"He's another human, but you see Aaliyah, sometimes they don't appreciate what we're doing for them. They don't understand and so they get scared. But you don't have to be scared," he said with a smile, returning his attention to her, "because I'm here to help you. You understand that, right?"
((I'll be a little on and off today because of school.))

She didn't like the sounds of the crying. "Why would they fight it something so good?" She asked confused. She was looking at him. Deep down inside she wanted to come out. For a moment she froze as she tired fighting it but she couldn't. "Why doesn't he smiled." She asked. "Why isn't he liking the help?"
She nodded her head. "I know your helping me."
((Me too.))

He walked over to a chair in what appeared to be the lobby area in the building. The holding cells were still visible and the boys cries still rang out. "When people don't understand something they get misconceptions. You see, there are some people who think that instead of helping them we're actually hurting them. They think we're trying to take over." Alec shook his head, his grey eyes seemingly full of sorrow. "That's why they fight."
After a moment however he smiled at her, "I really am glad you understand that we only want to help. We want this world to be a better place. Don't you?"

Her eye widen again. She was regaining control slowly. She still had about five minuets left before she takes total control. "Let me go." She whispered but it wasn't strong or defiant it was weak and tired. She was tired of fighting. She never relaxed before. She didn't fight nor did she struggled. "I'm sorry," she said. She was defeated.
"I'm sorry little brother I tired but I'm trapped with no way out. I promise I will never stop protecting you." She had a single tear coming down her cheek. She looked back at Alec eyes and went under his control again. "Why am I crying?" She asked.

"I can't let you go," Alec said simply, staring impassively down at her, "but I can let him go. If you cooperate. I promise that I will."
He knew that his promise fell flat as she fell under his control again and he sighed, finding himself tired of this whole process and wondering when someone would finally come to the desk. Alec made sure not to touch her and broke eye contact, looking instead at her lap.
"Aaliyah I will make a deal with you, but so help me I need you to come back to me for a moment. And I need you to promise you're not going to run or scream, because our guards will not hesitate to tranquilize you...or worse."

She looked up to her brother. She nodded her head. "Ok." She said. "I won't run but you better hurry because they are coming." It was too late they were here. She looked into his eyes and fell under his control quickly. She looked at him. She didn't move.
"Hello I see you found a human. Is she completely under your control? If so you have to come with us to make her stay clam until she's ready for the transformation. You know all her memories of being human will be gone. Make sure you know her name and can you take care of her to make sure she adjust well."

Alec opened his mouth to speak but closed it quickly as Aaliyah announced that people had already come. He silently cursed under his breath for waiting so long before looking away from her, gently placing his hand on her shoulder so he could keep some sense of control.
"She is completely under my control, of course. Does it look like she's trying to run?" Alec asked with a light chuckle. "I know the drill. I'll stay with her. She won't freak out with me around. I do however wish to know if it's possible for us to remain alone while we wait for all preparations for the change are being made. She was particularly hard to get under control, and I fear that being around too many perfects may be enough to set her off again."

The person nodded at the desk. "If she is under your control like most weak minded humans you can control anywhere you go." She said. "Her eyes will stay glaze no matter what. If you can prove to us that she can do that then we will let you stay alone." She said. "We do this to most. Sometimes humans fight and get weak. But we need to make sure there is no fighting left in her."
She smiled some at the her. She kept smiling. She didn't know any better than to smile.

"Come on Aalyiah, we're walking back by the holding cells," he said with a smile, talking to her in a gentle tone. "Maybe if those people see how happy you are, they'll realize that we're actually helping."
He moved away from her slightly, letting his hand slip off of her shoulder. He made sure that they were still close enough that his hand would brush her as they walked, ensuring that physical contact would remain in the most casual way he could think of.
Alec knew that if this worked he would have full trust with the attendant at the desk. Keeping Aaliyah under control while she was staring into the eyes of fellow humans - some of which she may have known - would prove that she was controlled. He would just make sure not to take her too close to her little brother.

She followed them. "Yeah your helping them." She said with a smile. She looked up at him. "But my ankle hurts really bad." She said. She looked up at him. "I can try to walk." She said. "Why would anyone get sick or hurt. He said your going to fix my ankle." She saw the people in the cells. "Who are we going to see?"

"I'm very sorry about your ankle, but we will fix it. I promise. We just have to wait for the doctors to get ready," Alec assured her. He stayed close to her, both for control reasons and out of fear that she may fall. "The attendant thinks it'd be good for you to see the little boy. He really needs to calm down, and we think you'd be the perfect person to help him realize that we mean no harm."

She looked at the little boy in the room. "Jason." She whispered. She didn't snapped out of it. "That's a good idea he's over reacting. You are helping us why don't they see that so clearly?" She asked. She looked around then she heard him screaming at them saying they were monsters. She looked to Alec then the attendant. "They are both perfects they are helping us become better than we are." She said looking dead in the eyes. "We will all be perfect we don't get sick. Isn't that great?" She said. "Then we will live longer than most people."

"See?" he said pointedly, a broad smile on his face as she interacted with her brother. "I told you I had control over her. If she can interact with him, then she's ours." He turned to Aaliyah and smiled, "That's right. We're only helping."

"The little boy is sad. But he will be able to see it that you are right. We won't be able to get sick." She said, "your helping us." She looked around and smiled. The little boy insisted that they are monsters. "They did nothing wrong little boy." She looked up at him. "Needles?" She's gulped. "I don't really like needles."

Alec placed his hand on Aaliyah's shoulder, gently turning her so that she was facing away from the holding cells. "You did a great job, now come on. We're going to make you all better," he said in the most comforting voice he could muster up, "Don't worry about the needles. I promise, you won't even feel a thing."
