Thought I'd share this:
Murder-by-Month Mystery series by Jess Lourey .

I'm pretty sure I once heard about a book which I think is historical fiction, but one of the characters is a woman who actually was a real archealogist. Don't remember anything else, but I think several people here read it. Any ideas which book I mean?

Euphoria by Lily King?
I haven't read it but it is on my list. I think it was a July group read.

I see now that it's about anthropologists and not archealogists, too bad!

I read that a long time ago and don't remember, but the book blurb says that they are archeologists.

Thanks, Janice.

I have this book at home, Lisa. The note in my book file says "sci-fi, time travel, made into a movie and archeology students get trapped in the past on a rescue mission to save their professor". Sounds like you are in luck. :0)

Euphoria is definitely about anthropologists, Peggy.
Amelia Peabody and her husband are archeologists in the series by Elizabeth Peters. Crocodile on the Sandbank is the first one.

LOL and thanks for my first book! I haven't even thought about gophering yet, but I am glad to know I have at least one that I already own that will fit the challenge.

Always happy to help! ;)

Oh, well, I just re-read the rule. If I hadn't broken my thumb playing soccer, I could have read it. ;o(
Back to the drawing board. I am sure I have a title with bone in it. I already read The Bone Garden for my Geo Challenge.

I better go to lunch so I can get back to work....

The other question was accident vs accidental, so a bit different.

If it helps anyone, here are some archaeology related novels on Listopia:

If you enter "shower" in the Search Books space, be prepared to need to go take one. Whew! If you enter shower in the Listopia link, you either get books for baby showers or hot and steamy m/m or bdsm sex books. Just saying! I found only one that I was interested in reading: Never Shower in a Thunderstorm, but.... uh, never mind!
Not fair that there are no book covers with a shower stall (I couldn't find any), but there are plenty of titles with bathtubs on the covers. I couldn't find any I especially wanted to read. I found one cover I especially liked, but the story summary burned my ears.

Ariane, when I searched the lists for 'books set in spring' I got a list with easter/pesach books. Didn't look at it, but maybe there's something in there?
Anyone else got the idea that list-searching doesn't work as well as it did before? I get the most random lists...

but yeah, the search with "shower" can bring you to some strange places... haha
Thanks Peggy, I'll look into it... and I am still looking for that spring book too...

I found Shower of Stars that I might go with.

I did find Murder Can Rain on Your Shower, which is a cozy. I also have Shower of Stars, which Lori listed above on my possible list.
Great idea to use rain showers, Peggy. I hadn't thought of that.

I think I should have said Christmas..."
Did you do a search for "Easter"? Granted there are a lot of children's books, but a quick search brought up:
The Easter Parade
Easter's Lilly
Easter Lilly: A Novel of the South Today
Black Easter
Peggy wrote: "Oh, I didn't even realize about the page numbers. Sorry!"
I had the same happen during my initial gophering for Thanksgiving as my favorite holiday. A lot of cute children's books but all short in length. Can anyone think of a longer novel, where Thanksgiving play a prominent role in the story?
