Sorry for not responding sooner, Hallie!
Oh man, I'm sorry :( Teachers don't have any business calling people stupid! Aren't they supposed to en courage people to learn, not dis courage? At least the other one is nice, but wow. As Mr. Knox said the other day, "Sometimes, I wonder what motivated some of these people to get into teaching."
Makes sense. Are they just the top students? In my school, if someone asks another person about something and that person doesn't know, they or someone around them are usually aware of who gets the best grades. Then again, I have known half of my class since I was 11, and most have known them for longer than that because they haven't moved.
Wow! It's amazing to have someone who has the same feeling! My friends and parents are just really puzzled by it. I also feel embarrassed asking for help sometimes because I think they'll go like "why is she here, she gets good grades." But I know I'm just imagining that. Mr. Knox wants people to inquire, and most importantly, to think. And the other teacher I really like is happy to have an excuse to teach more of his subject during the lunch period (I've never seen someone so fascinated with their subject, but it's awesome)!
Moreover, both of them are seen as "cool" teachers anyway. I was surprised when I walked into Mr. Knox's class one day and two students were using his printer. They forgot to print an assignment, and he was nice enough to let them use it and even wrote them a late pass because the technology malfunctioned. On the same day before my other favorite teacher's class, people walked in and talked about random fun stuff with my teacher like it was nothing. So beyond the adult thing, I don't know what I'm really scared of...
I'm probably going to have to get over that though. In later years, I'm going to need recommendation letters. And that's a perfext excuse to bond with and enjoy a teacher. Because I'm looking for one and I don't totally have it now. Although I might need to talk to Mr. Knox alone more because of my writing life- I'll need information on the school literary magazine and verification that I'm a real high school student for writing contests. XD
Anyway, I'm getting on my soapbox, sorry! That's so great to hear, omg! I need to get Plutonium going so Alia and Hallie can sit in a classroom together! My parents don't think it's weird because they're used to it, and my friends don't know. They probably would agree that it's odd, though. I asked one of them what they thought of their teachers, and the response I got was "they're all the same to me." Not here!
No worries :) Riley seems so willing, which will be great when we are both preoccupied!

She was probably dropped a few times too many as a child. I like Mr. Knox so much even though I don't know him aside from what I heard from you. That is so true!
Nope, we just randomly elected them. That used to happen in my old school, but here we really don't understand who is a top student and who isn't. A lot of people mistake me for one albeit I scored pretty pathetic and have no clue what's going on in class.
My teachers are the same. They are always telling us to be inquisitive, but me - I don't open my mouth unless it's English.
That's so cool! I really don't understand how some students chat like that with teachers. I don't get annoyed, but I find it impressive. That would just be impossible for me. Once my favourite teacher in my old school was having lunch with us, and she sat right next to me. I was mentally panicking and wishing she would go elsewhere xP
Recommendation letters! *gasps* I hope our education system doesn't require that! I'm never getting one from this school! I'm sure you'll get a glowing letter! :)
Really, don't stress about it! Take your time :) Haha xD My parents think everything is weird about me, so....
Yay! :D

English: The highest rating! 5!
Irish: Meh. 3?
Organic Chemistry: 5!
Inorganic Chemistry: Hmmm.... 3 or 4.
Physics 1: I'm not sure if we get to rate her because well.....
Physics 2: 5!
Botany: 1 - Not because she is bad; I don't like her and don't want her again.
Zoology: 4 or 5
Economics: 1
Geography: 3
History: 4 or 5
Math 1: 2
Math 2: 2
Who have I forgotten?

Story of my life! Fortunately for me, they called a couple of us for the teacher reviewing thing, so I'm in the library cursing the school's poor software building skills xP

Anyway, who designed this stupid thing? I'm going to chop their head off!

Oh yeah, I need to remember Seph and Corvus :( Haha! You would like him a lot, I think. He's sometimes controversial (he has done things like make up a story about how someone's mom reads them Goodnight Moon every night) and as I said in Ahana's journal, he ships people. XD But overall, he's the best teacher I have and one of the best in his department. Oh! Speaking of math, have I ever told you the story with him and my math teacher? That was just hilarious...
Oh, so was it a popularity contest kind of? Hmm... well I think you are! And you don't always need to know what's going on every second to be at the top.
Well, you don't have to always open your mouth to be inquisitive :) He says that too, acknowledges the introverts and observers, and that's what I like so much.
Same! I wish I could. I mean, it was different in middle school. Teacher's just approached me. But that doesn't happen in high school. You have to approach them...
Haha! The only time I felt not shy about talking with teachers was graduation last year. Great timing. XD
I'm not sure, but you'll be fine. And aww thanks :)
Thank you. XD Well, it's not.

*stares at the word Corvus real long* My vice-principal in my old school gave me enough to live with that xD Yikes, now that's something I wouldn't like, but I don't mind if a teacher has a flaw or two if they are good otherwise :) Nooooo, you haven't (or if you have, I've gotten xP) you've got to tell me! xD
Hmmmm... Not exactly a popularity contest; it was more of an election where people interested in being the prefects nominated themselves, and the rest of us voted the ones we thought would be good at it, and the candidates that got the top two places after taking the majority of votes. Does that make sense at all? My skills at explanation are as bad as my skills at Math. Just pathetic. Ahhhhh no!!!! I'm always in a different world during classes. I don't know what on earth that teacher is talking most of the time, and when I do, it's because I'm in English class. I never study and almost never know any answer to the questions asked.
I need to see Mr. Knox at least once in my life! :D I guess that's true. The same in my case. Most of the teachers knew me in my old school because my brother studied the as well, so it was easier there. However, whether I exist in this class or not is a doubt to every teacher. Haha xD

7. Best friends: H, S, and everyone I talk to on Goodreads.
10. Dream job: Journalist/Writer
18. What you love: Books, writing, music!
19. Obsession: Goodreads, morbid stuff
26. Best thing ever: Books, writing, music, stars, amazing friends!
30. Special talents: None.
31. Someone you can tell everything to: Myself
34. Someone you hate: I've got one long list I can't fit in here.

Okay! XD I will wait!!

Like me! (actually probably not me)"
I consider you my best friend, too! Same with Alia, Jingle, Sara and so many others! I won't finish if I start making every single person.

I don't want to sleep tonight! Ironically I told myself that I want to sleep like a log when I got up this morning.

That's a rather strange way to put it.

Yeah I know, I need to play him again :( I just haven't had the motivation and Kim is on hiatus now...
To live with what? XD And oh no, I didn't make it clear enough lol! He only does it to certain people. The Goodnight Moon story was applied to a boy trying to be overly macho. And no offense to him, but he has gross habits sometimes. He ATE SOMETHING OFF THE FLOOR in Mr. Knox's room. So I didn't feel all that sorry for him, haha!
Oh and you and I probably wouldn't be targeted in the shipping. Somebody once said "why don't you target her instead" and pointed to me. He said "I don't want to target her" like I was too innocent to be targeted. XD
I feel like I talk too much about his class, but it's the best part of an average day by far.
Okay I'll tell you in another post XD
Oh that makes sense. Top positions in our student government work like that too. Your skills of explanation are superior! I see bad explaining going on all the time. You're one of the best :) I think in the lower rungs of the government you just apply to get in, but yeah, for the upper ones you have to make a speech. Nope XD I'd be content with orchestra president or literary magazine president as a senior; class president is too intimidating! Although knowing my leadership skills, I would avoid being president of anything unless I felt it was a real threat to my college application not to be.
Okay, I'll take you at your word. I'd disagree, but I won't this time because I know so many people who do exactly what you describe. I'm not judging you, I promise! And your life isn't easy either. Some of the folks I know have great lives and they're just lazy.
Oh haha now I'm imagining that! XD He'd probably be surprised if he saw this! "But you're so quiet, I didn't think you thought about me at all outside of class!" and "Mr. Knox? What kind of name is that?" XD Ah I see. Yeah, last year I didn't really know that they all liked me a lot until the yearbook notes I got. The year before that, I had those teachers for two years, and it became obvious... well a lot of people hated my favorite teachers then and that was sad for me. Aw yeah :( I'm sure it'll improve as you go along!

Is that even a question? Of course you are!!!!!

:(
Haha my vice-principal did the same, too. Making up stories for entertainment. Eat off the floor?! He deserves Mr. Knox!
That's true :) No one ever ships me with anything, so I really wouldn't mind much. Although it would be weird to see a teacher do it.
The same for the Student Union here as well, except they have a longer procedure and the teachers interview them and stuff. No, I really suck at explaining! I often don't understand what I am saying. In real life, it's worse because I stammer soooooo much xP I wanted to try out president of the Magazine committee as well, but I didn't even make it into the committee, so no responsibilities for me. Hehe I conveniently skip all the leadership activities now with the excuse that my brother was never one and yet he got into a top college and has a great job.
My life isn't that bad - I just make it that way. I don't suppose I have much to say about it.
Hahaha xD I'm literally rolling on the bed laughing! I'm pretty much non-existent unless I sit in the last for a questioning session. Hopefully, or else my teachers will say I never attended this school! A lot of people don't like my English teacher either, so I can relate :(

Is that even a question? Of course you are!!!!!
I can't believe I didn't put your name and even Ma..."
YAY!! you are not stupid Hals!!
