I'm kind of hungry, but I don't trust food to stay in my stomach and get digested.
I wouldn't recommend it. It hasn't gotten very good reviews on trivago.

Well, ancient people here still use Fahrenheit, but they officially switched to Celsius a few decades ago.

'Ancient people'? Are we talking grandparents and older generations? And why does the world need two different ways of finding out temperatures? Can't we just roll with one? And the same goes for money! Why not just have one billing system with all the same bills and coins? We over here use American dollars, while Hallie probably uses pounds. Why is the big question!

Looks like America hasn't switched. Currency, though, it's going to be harder to standardize because of the difference in economy and every country would prefer its own currency.

That would be a mess. Apparently 1 dollar is about 0.75 pound sterling, so not only would that confuse the whole of America, but also it would be so hard to exchange the dollars that you have with pounds.
