The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe has the genre "childrens" on its main page and has fewer than 300 pages. Since task 25.11 does not specifically allow short childrens books, that book will not work for this task.

Please check your totals. I show you with 135 - 60 at the end of post 388, plus 75 from this post.

No need to repost - this is just an FYI so we can keep our totals consistent.

A Happy Death appears to be set in Algeria, not France. However, since his bio calls Camus an "Algerian born French author," the book will work under the "lived" in France criteria.

Jean post 394

For task 20.2, option 1, the book must be at least 50% set in the national park. From the description of Gloryland: A Novel, it's difficult to determine how much of the book is set there, since it appears that the protagonist was 40 when his army troop was posted there in 1903 and there seems to be a fair amount of plot before that point.

If the book was at least 50% set in Yosemite, please repost explaining this.

For ebooks and audiobooks, you must use the page count for the most popular mass market paperback edition. The page count you have used is for an ebook edition. Neither of the mass market paperback edition have page counts ending in an odd number, so A Dance with Dragons will not work for this task.

If you want to claim a Goodreads Author or a Big Books ticket, you must specifically say so in your post - merely listing the number of pages in a book or including a tally at the end of your post is not sufficient.

Make sure to note "Goodreads Author," "GR author," or "GRA" or "Big Books ticket" or "BB ticket" in your post directly beside or below the specific book affected. A list of authors, book titles, or page numbers at the end or beginning of the post is not sufficient.

If you are claiming a BB ticket, you must include the number of pages in the book. Be sure that the link you provide goes to the edition you actually read, with the correct number of pages. If you used an ebook or an audiobook, include a link to the paper edition used to establish length.

If you wish to claim a BB ticket for Wild Man, please repost including the appropriate link and stating that the repost is for BB tickets only. Requirements for Reposts

Task 5.9 requires that there be a black cat on the cover or that the genre "witches" be listed on the main page. Neither of those criteria are met for Dorothy Must Die.

Genres:
Fantasy 411 users
YA 347 users
Retellings 117 users
Fantasy>Magic 54 users
Fantasy>Fairy Tales 51 users

If you received pre-approval "locking in" the genre, please repost, linking to the approval.

Please do not repost the other tasks in your post - those points have been recorded.

The link you provide in your post for Book B goes to Claude McKay: The Black Poet at War.

This may be a GR issue, and I was able to find the book you named, but it's a good idea to check your links, especially when they look strange like the one in your post does.

No need to repost

yes. When Kristi sees that a task posting doesn't work, she won't give a BB ticket, and when she sees a later repost of the task, she won't know you're claiming a ticket unless you say so.
