I think the book was called Witches or Bewitched or something like it, but that brings up so many things. The cover was purple.

Prota moves from a celebrity infested area (hollywood?) to a rural town in the woods. Hates it. At school there's 3 really popular girls and she finds out they are witches who made their fashionable outfits through magic, among other things. Turns out she has a gift for witchery too.

Final showdown happens on prom night (?). It's snowing. Main villain turns out to be most prominent male character. No one expected because male.

I read it in 2015 or '14 I think? Maybe even begin '16.
