Amy (thenikitagirl) | 244 comments I hope this year I don't get bogged down with work and travel and can actually maintain and stay on track. I was so successful the first half of the year and then it just got worse and worse after June. I was so nervous to make one the first year as to not want to disappoint myself and not finish, but this year I hope to accomplish my goal. I did read more books than last year so that at least is something.

I am a slow reader sometimes and fast at other times. I wish I was just fast all the time. I'd have finished my list this year.

Amy (thenikitagirl) | 244 comments I have decided today that I am going to try and read in order in 2017, which I knew I wouldn't even think about doing this year. I wanted freedom in my choices. I think this year I am going to try reading in order to have more structure and maybe it will work better to stay on track during each week.

Saara (lamiena) | 86 comments Looks like a nice list thus far. :) We seem to have a few of the same options. Good luck with staying on track! I have a similar problem with sometimes reading pretty fast and other times rather slowly...doesn't help that I get stuck in front of the computer so often. :D

Amy (thenikitagirl) | 244 comments I couldn't agree more, Saara! I will check out your list now. Nice to have new acquaintances with similar tastes and new ideas.

Amy (thenikitagirl) | 244 comments Thanks so much, Katie! I appreciate your message :-))) Yes, I am quite behind the times with not reading them all yet. I just found them this year. Looking to read the second installment this month.

Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments Amy you're doing better than I am!!!

For your big book, I loved The Witching Hour when I was younger, I think I read it three times.

Happy reading :-)

Amy (thenikitagirl) | 244 comments Awwww thanks so much, Tracy! It seems when life gets busy, my reading takes a plummet. Helps when I'm reading something I love though :-)

message 12: by Amy (new)

Amy (thenikitagirl) | 244 comments Well...I got behind there for a bit but am trying to pick it back up. I got two books in this week but am still three behind. Hopefully I can get back on track.
