I think saying "your" God would be a bit offensive to any Supreme Being, anyone who created all people wouldn't like to seem people in competition, especially over claiming "God". People think it's righteous, but it's actually demeaning. He becomes a property, a possession of yours, like a cross around your neck, but he's greater than that.
Instead of asking is my God the real God, we should be asking ourselves are we the real children of the real God, the one that created EVERYTHING.

I agree with you to a degree, Claire. I think saying "your" God can be a simple way of identifying your beliefs. But I also think it becomes a problem when we compare Gods and say this one is right and this one is wrong. I think every religion can be a stepping stone to the one true God, but the more we compare them, the more we lose sight of the goal.
