My poor Secret Santa spent ages looking through the books on my wish list and checking if they were available at ARe but they either weren't there or only available in Adobe epub which I can't read on my kindle. So in the end as I mentioned up thread she kindly gave me a very generous gift certificate. I wanted to get something special for myself so my SS would know how much I appreciated her so I ended up preordering the book I am MOST looking forward to in 2017 which is The Chosen by J.R. Ward and with the leftover I bought Penric’s Mission by Lois McMaster Bujold. Both of these are up with my favourite all time authors. I'm going to reread the Penric series so that I really appreciate this sequel so don't hold your breath for the review for a few weeks ;)
