Which is your current read ?

I need to read this book too! I've read the other four, and have this last one waiting in the wings. I love reading Brandon Sanderson's books.

I am really glad that now this group is active . Good to know that you all are reading interesting. I am Currently reading "Beyond the Uncharted landscape" By Author Achal Rangaswamy.
Keep Sharing Guyz !!!!!

I hate when that happens :(.

That happens to me too, but we get through the book one page at a time. :)

I'm reading Blood Rites Dresden Files #6. I've slowly been making my way through the series this year.
Hi, Vidhi and everyone else, I'm reading I Am Number Four by Pitticus Lore and The Land Without Color by Benjamin Ellefson.

Tell me how Miss Peregrine's is Ipuna. I been dying to pick that one up next.

Ransom is a talented writer. Great storytelling. I think some of my favorite things about his writing include his descriptions (picks the perfect words to paint a picture), mystery (keeps you wondering what will happen next), and it's funny (there are several parts in the book where I just crack up). I would definitely recommend reading it. I'll have more input when I'm done with the book. Thanks for asking.

I've read the first book in the Broken Kingdoms series by Jemison. I keep meaning to get back and finish that series. It's good to know that her newer series are good as well.
I'm reading Anger Meridian by Kaylie Jones. To be honest, it's one of the better books that I've read. I've heard it classified as literary fiction, but I've found it an easy read and very compelling. The writing definitely is a skilled in her craft.

Loved Anger Meridian. I concur on it being one of the better books out there. In fact, I'd say it's hard to find much better. Kaylie is a great writer. It's in her blood. She's the daughter of the late great author, James Jones, and one of my mentors when I was in creative writing school, I'm proud to say.

I just started reading Pawn of Prophecy, by David Eddings.
I've never read any of his work, before. It always ended up being something I planned to read, one day. Guess it's "one day".

I'm currently reading Cosmos by Carl Sagan. This book is a mixture of science and philosophy, and it also provides us the biographical anecdotes about many well known scientists throughout history, placing their contributions into the broader context of the development of modern science.

James this was the second series I read when I started reading fantasy in my teens. (Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit were first). I hope you enjoy Pawn of Prophecy.

One suggestion I might have for a group read is a Ken Follett book, or perhaps _Forever Amber_, but I am open to any number of book genres. My least favorite type is RO-mances, though I've been known to read a few.

I just finished a remarkable audio of Go Tell it on the Mountain! I loved it! I loved the ambiguous ending, it got my mind going places I'm not sure was intended...but maybe...

Well... I have "Miss Peregrine's..." and "I Am Number 4", but I haven't read them.

No, those were just two I have that were mentioned above, in this thread.

I read 13 Reasons Why a few years ago...interested in how you feel about it...

Condoleezza Rice, did you say? I'd definitely be interested in reading that. What did you think of it?

A really fascinating book. Rice is such a dynamic person, and her deep love and appreciation for her parents and her family is all over the book.

I am currently reading "Adnan's Story" based on Adnan Syed's case (featured on the podcast Serial.) Next book will be "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

I thought 13 reasons why was just okay. I think I gave it 3 stars. I thought the cassette tape structure was fresh and unique and the writing, very good. Where I lost it was on the victim's motivation. I couldn't relate to her reasons, although I was empathic, and that part of it made the book a little difficult to finish. Your turn.

I am also listening to the audiobook of The Witches by Stacy Schiff.

The Fifth Witness
Silent Night: The Remarkable Christmas Truce of 1914
When Books Went to War: The Stories that Helped Us Win World War II
All the Light We Cannot See
Fragile
After You
These are just a few I have book marks in...
I love mysteries, court room dramas, FBI profilers, Forensics, Private Eye, Detective from the cozy to the dark. I also love paranormal, vampire, werewolf types been reading Charlaine Harris, Patricia Briggs and Kim Harrison. I love chicklit, SyFy, classics, YA, children's and whatever trips my reading trigger in between. I dig series as well: JD Robb, Craig Johnson, Michael Connelly, Dana Stabenow and Stuart Woods I flip back and forth from plus several other authors.

It didn't leave me giggling, like a schoolgirl. But at least it didn't leave me frothing at the mind.
Here's my review, if you're interested.

So far, I'm finding his style incredibly easy to read and I'm enjoying the character, Harry Dresden.
