SOLVED. MG/YA Sci Fi Chronicles, Love Triangle, Clone involved. [s]

I honestly created this account just to find this book! It's been bugging me for quite some time and google is of no help.

I just remember it had the word Chronicles somewhere in the title. It was a book series I read in 7th/8th grade so around '09/'10. I remember there were quite a few of these books and I read the first 2 of them I believe. It seemed to be a popular book series because most of them were always checked out.

The plot had something to do mainly revolving around 3 people. One of which was a clone of someone the other 2 main characters knew. I believe they stole the clone when he was a baby and ran away, I can't remember why. The clone had red hair I believe and aged quickly. I remember it was a love triangle between the 3 characters. The clone and the protagonist were in love with the same female. She stayed in some secluded area to raise the clone and developed a bond with him. I believe the protagonist left and came back. Could be wrong on that part.
That's all I can really remember, but after all this time I still think about it and want to finish that series! I was around 14 then, I'm now 20!
