I had just updated our link when the construction crew up the street cut my internet!!! It was fine today but thank goodness it didn't happen during Toppler week.:)

Well the Toppler starts on Saturday here...and no construction ever takes place on a weekend here so I know we are safe at least for the first two days. They were actually pretty sheepish about it- I felt a little bad because some people were losing their mind!
Elsbeth wrote: "Do you have an ereader, Cherie? You can do..."I have a Nook, Elsbeth. Thanks for the link for storycartel. I will check it out.
I'm done with jury duty - yay! So will try for my books noted as tentative 'til now on our sign-up sheets. I have 3 of my 6 books from the library. Starting to get worried about the other 3 holds. I'm number one in line and they're not checked out. Don't know what the deal is!! Will talk to librarian tomorrow.
I have my books gor game one on top of my to read pile and I'm excited. I have 3 of my game 2 books set as well. Still need to make a library run though.
One of my books wasn't in yet so I'll be making one more trip to the library before I'm quite ready!
My books are stacked in a neat pile or on my Kindle.... I am going to read a nice easy book Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened this week before the Toppler. I am very excited for my first Toppler read which is also one of the monthly book reads The Art of Racing in the Rain. The group discussion thread is taunting me :)
I have my Baby book The Cradle and my Married book The Hours, but I'm rethinking the Drinking one. I think Long Day's Journey Into Night is a better fit than Wishful Drinking. It's 176 pages and the reviews indicate a lot of drinking. Plus it's available at my library so I can pick it up tomorrow on my way home from work.
Good to see everyone is getting there books up together ready to start. I have my kindle and I need to pack my print book The Gunslinger just in case I finish the other one during the week.
Tejas Janet the 3 we put you down for are Vacation - 5 points, Get Remarried (fresh start) - 5 points both on Sheet 1. And New job for 5 points on sheet 2.I remember you mentioning others, please confirm:
Colour in title (or Childhood), Drinking in it and another Vacation. Is that right?
Sarah wrote: "Thanks Peggy! We fly tomorrow and I'm really excited!"Have a lovely holiday, Sarah! Don't give us a thought even though we'll be missing you. Hehehehe!
Thanks Janice! I've got to go work in a bit which is a bit annoying - I just want to go on holiday now not tomorrow especially as it's a bit cold, wet and dreary here at the moment. Bring on the sun!

Yes, correct...
So looks like I'm all set for my first 3 books.
4th book - for "College/3 Points/Drinking in it" - looks like you can change me from purple to red : ) on sheet 2 to show that I'm confirmed for it.
5th book - for "Go on Vacation" (another one, as you note), looks like it fits in on sheet 3 for "Read book that takes place in a foreign country" for 5 Points.
6th book - looks like can fill empty spot on sheet 3 -
Either for "Childhood/3 Points/YA book"
Or for "Lose Job/3 Points - book title has color in it."
Hope I have this all straight. Thanks!

Sarah, I hope your day flies by so you can start your holiday! Enjoy yourself and we'll hear from you whenever :)
Thanks guys! And Cherie, yes I am still around (unfortunately)! ;-) One more sleep and then it's to the airport!Chart looks great Sarah. Nice one! Looks like we're all good to go! Have fun everyone and happy reading! I'll be back in touch on the Thursday!
Have fun Sarah! Put the new link in message 1- great job Sarah! It will be very easy to see what we need if any of us get around to reading any extra books.

I'm so excited, I think I have found another book =D But it doesn't exactly fit anywhere other than Lottery so we'll see. It'll be an extra if I have time =]
I'm packing my backpack for the 3-day music festival I'm going to tomorrow, and I didn't forget my book! I'm not sure if I'll read there, but you never know...
Ooh have fun Peggy =D if not you still have the other 4 days to get your book in.I'm so excited, I can't wait to start. Is everyone ready for the toppler tomoz?
Hehe =] I have my 3 copies on the shelf ready and 1 on the kindle app >.< I'm so excited, I'm wishing the day away lol. I still have to finish my 2 books on the go at the moment, but nearly there.
Ready also. One audio book loaded on my IPOD, one e-book on my kindle, one e-book on my IPAD, and one in hardcover. So I am ready to read wherever I am. Also have several extra books on kindle available if I get the four ones I have committed to finished. How did we ever read without technology?
AAAh, I'm not ready....!! I can never finish the book I'm reading on time... So hopefully I can still remember everything when I start again after a week...Looking forward to this! I also have a spare-book (for 'making a fresh start' or 'a new job'), just in case I finish these 3 faster than I now think...
Ga je naar Pinkpop, Peggy? Veel plezier en voel je absoluut niet schuldig wanneer je niet aan lezen toe mocht komen!
So, everyone: have a good nights sleep (while you still can...) and have lots of fun with all your books! Happy reading!

I should be able to finish my one book tonight, but I have 4 hrs on my audiobook to finish. That will have to wait until after the toppler.
So excited! Gonna try and get a lot done this weekend, at least three books, probably four and go from there. Have fun Peggy. :)
Yay, have all my books now. Was still missing one, but bought it for the bargain price of $3 on Kindle today.I was next in line to borrow it from the library - but no telling when it will actually become available since the current borrower still has it checked out.
And YAY - finished up my last book for Mickey Mouse's Marchers today!
Is the link to the spreadsheet the latest doc in message 1? If I have time to read another book during the week I will check to see which slots need to be filled and read one of those.
I don't think you can start yet Angie.. We all start at the same time; EST Noon. My time GMT will be 17:00. So another hour and 36 mins.
Are we allowed to start reading? Not trying to be snarky, but I thought we had to wait until noon edt, or is it noon in our time zone?
Yes Jkmays it is Noon EDT, so we have to wait just a little longer. I'm growing impatient lol. So mooching for ebooks =P

Oh, it was Elsbeth's book Remember the Moon, with the house on the cover. :)"
Do you have an ereader, Cherie? You can download it for free from www.storycartel.com! - for another 8 days - in exchange for your review. That's where I got it.
