Team C AKA Chattering Book Addicts Crushes The Competition
Wow, you guys are reading machines... I am still on my first (and only) one. But I will finish it before the end of the toppler. Hopefully tonight because I have a 2 hour flight to Berlin. I would have liked to read more but I recently moved and there has been so much other stuff to do (like assembling furniture).I am reading The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared for Sheet 2, somebody over 60, and I am really enjoying it so far. It is a bit absurd, but if I don't take it too seriously it is quite fun :)

And Travis if the farm isn't too busy..... :)
We could totally do it!
I finished my 5 point wedding book last night for life 2. I'm going to start my 3 pointer in a few minutes for wedding life 2. I wasn't feeling well the laat few days so I don't know if I can finish the book have have slated for life 3. I think its all this rain here making me achy and tired. lol, I agree with that team Marnie.
And I'm glad it was beautiful on vacation. I leave Sunday for Niagara Falls and I can't wait.
Love the idea Marnie of the uber reader team versus everyone else!I'm about half way through my second book which I only started properly this morning (I read the foreword last night). So I'm pleased with my progress. I'm really enjoying The Gunslinger.

Sarah - If you have seen in the reporting thread, my book did qualify for the unemployed category :)Now I'm off to finish the current book which I'll put down for my lottery choice.
Here is a possible shuffle opportunitySheet 3 - 3 pt Lottery - The Rosie Project -
could move to sheet 3 - College 5points - Rosie is in graduate school
Book I am finishing for tomorrow Candlelight Christmas fits the empty lottery slot(3 pt) or family reunion (3 pts)
I finished Stargirl, my second book. I could never manage to read another one, so that's it for me! Good luck with the last pages of all your books!
I'm actually feeling a bit like stargirl at the moment. Boyfriend is watching soccer and although I'm of course happy for the Dutch, I'm also feeling sad for Spain for losing. They seem to have bad luck (not that I know anything about soccer). I hope I don't start cheering at the wrong moments ;-)
Same for me Peggy. We have the football on and I'm reading my book and keep peeking out of the corner of my eye at key moments. The Dutch team are doing awesome!

Or maybe they have to read with one eye closed ;)

HAHAHAHAHA
I would love to have a Toppler where I'm not working and see how many I could actually read. Work gets in the way! :)
Lynn wrote: "I would love to have a Toppler where I'm not working and see how many I could actually read. Work gets in the way! :)"I agree, work is completely in the way. I'm itching to leave now so I can finish my last few books!
Okay, I'm done, just finished my 6th and final book. I really can't read anymore, getting a headache again =[ and I'm going to be busy packing for when I leave on Sunday to visit my family.Latest Update: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3Ap...
That'll be the last one I think, I'll do some shuffling around once the toppler has finished.
I switched out my third book. I was reading The Hours for Sheet 1, Get Married, main character is married, 3 points. I just couldn't get into it. So I switched to Fantasy in Death. Main character , Eve Dallas, is married to Roarke (lucky girl). I'm more than half done, and should be done in time.
Finished my last book. Sarah when all the books get reported we can shuffle as need be. I think you have done an amazing job keeping us organized!
Working on my last book now, a short one so finishing won't be a problem in time for our deadline tomorrow at noon EDT (11 am for me in Texas). I haven't taken time to report much on the toppler books I've read as yet, but hope to take time to do this soon. Maybe tomorrow afternoon or on Sunday. I'm so impressed with all the reading happening for this challenge. I'm also happy with the books I've read - all books I really wanted to read - yay!
Special thank you to Sarah for her great organizational work and updating!!!
I have just finished my second and final book of the toppler The Gunslinger. I enjoyed both of the books I read - the first I gave 3.5 stars and the second 4 stars.
Yay everyone - nice going, cheering for those of you finishing up - 2-1/2 hours to go.Thanks Sarah and Marnie for keeping us on track.
I'm sorry Sarah, I just saw the comment about reading the fresh start book. It was the shorter of the two too. I just finished the marriage 3 pointer, and I'm off for some much needed rest.
Lynn wrote: "Thank you to Sarah and Marnie for keeping us on track :)"I totally agree with this! I loved this (my first) Toppler and the way it was organized!
Nice going Team C! I am very intrigued to see how many books we read and how many points we got! Thanks to Marnie and Sarah for the organising and recording. I wish I could have been around more for the chatter and planning - they'll be other topplers (counting the days!)
Ooh I like the pretty flowers =]Thanks, it was fun organising, I love that sort of thing, I'm going to go and have a look at the reporting thread now and compare with the chart and see what we got and whether we need to do any shuffling =]
June wrote: "I'm sorry Sarah, I just saw the comment about reading the fresh start book. It was the shorter of the two too. I just finished the marriage 3 pointer, and I'm off for some much needed rest."And no worries June, feel better soon *huggles*
I will be home in a few to help update. Sarah points are in message 1 of reporting thread. But final total to come.
Sarah- would the easiest things to do is move the missing 3 spots from life 3 into life 2 and then shuffle around life 3 to make sure we have as many five point spots filled?
My book for life 3 would also work for get remarried/ make a fresh start for 5 points... oops, the book I was thinking of was for life 2 so never mind. Sorry!!
Ooh yes, Thanks Roz =]Okay I've made those changes on the chart: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3Ap...
We were so close to completing 3 lifes! Has everyone reported their books or do we still have a couple?
I'm still waiting for Melissa and Dawn, I think everyone else has checked in =] But Melissa is in Aus and I think it's gone 3am over there lol, So may have to be till tomoz.Marnie I won't be here from tomoz for 2 weeks, I won't have very good internet access for 1 week, so I won't be able to get to the chart. But hopefully we can sort most of it out before tonight =]
I think if you look at reporting thread. We can have it mostly figured out. Extra books can then be slotted in. I'm heading to The World Cup Monday so I think it would be great to have it mostly done this weekend.Reporting thread 133
Ooh =] I hope you have lots of fun Marnie =D Yes I think it's just sheet 3 now anyway to slot in the last few books. So shouldn't be too much. I really enjoyed this toppler >.<
