But as we already know the ashaman manage to turn the tables and we finally see her running out of the battle.
She also has some kind of cube handed to her by I think one of the forsaken, what it does exactly is unclear.
Perrin thinks that Rand is going to kill of the Aes sedai and confronts him for it, but Min sets him straight.
Rand takes the decision regarding Aes sedai and hands them to the wise ones, he hopes that the wise ones will teach Aes sedai some manners.
Rand also takes decision to head to Carihien, but one of the wise ones makes an get way and makes an appearance, I did not know that wise ones had the ability to travel through get ways interesting!.
She informs Rand that Colavere has seized the power in Carihien, and rumours are infesting Carihien that Rand has gone with the tower Aes sedai, which is making the Aiel in Carihien lose hope in the Carracan.
Another important thing happening is that Padrian Niall is killed.

Niall getting killed was surprising although I should have suspected it after the plotting in the last book. Looks like the Children of the Light might fracture after the two main plotters have a power struggle.
Is Colavere the one who kept sending women to entice Rand in previous books? I am going to have to read this section in text to get all the players straight.
I keep forgetting to post in here. I'm way past this part.
I like that we kind of got a flashback from another POV of the battle in the last book, even if it was from Savannah.
The one thing of interest to me in the prologue was that Elaida mentions how she foretold the line of Andor was important to the future of the world, so she attached herself to Elaine. However we now know that Rand is from the previous line of Andor. Does she have it wrong?

Great observation.
Yeah well, I don't think Elaida's rein will be a long/well remembered one. I just thought it's an interesting little tidbit. One I don't think we ever get a clarification on, but at this point most of what comes next is a blur to me. lol.
