Wonder question

Hey, I don't fully understand what you are trying to say here, but the thing is it's sad that people are not looking at him through his lenses, and people are treating him differently by not talking to him (as an exception of Summer and his family). If you look at it in this way, even I personally (even though I am not right) don't go close to these sort of people but actually after finishing this book it made me cry to look at how many people I have rejected. And it made me cry because this book was the reason I self realized my mistakes. So I guess that it is sad from both sides- or actually ALL sides- in some aspects or another.
