Yay. Susan, I really loved the first book. I hope you will enjoy it too.

I only read P.S. I Love You. Have you read much of her work?

I did like Ps I love you. I was Surprised how different the movie and book were.

There are a few out there I've really enjoyed; are you a Jane Austen fan? Pride & prejudice was done by the BBC in a 6 part series with Colin Firth - this is only adaptation of this book I will consider watching - don't even get me started on the Keira Knightly film version! It was very authentic to the period and the casting was spot on.
Another TV adaptation which I quite enjoyed was 'The scarlet pimpernel' with Hugh Grant.
I love Jane Austen! I haven't watched he BBC series. I will have to check it it.
I do! I will have to search for it. I love Pride and Prejudice.

You know, out of all the characters the one I wanted to know more about was colonel fitzwilliam! Ms Austen could have done a spin off lol
Lol. I am reading Lady Susan right. I love Jane Austen.

That is great Susan! I can't wait for it to start! I am reading the Return of the King. I am trying to finish it up tonight.

I love it! What you are reading sounds interesting. I want to read Alexandre Dumas' novel this year.

It was to me Renee. I learned a lot I didn't know not just about The Count, but about the French Revolution, the situation in Saint Domingue (present day Haiti) of slaves and free people of color, and the civil rights situation in France for people of color. Many surprises. I highly recommend it.
I'm finishing the Riyria Revelations right now. Also reading A Passage to India. And a few others. I always have about 6 books going at the same time, which works as long as none are too similar.
6! That is a lot. 3 is usually my max.

That sounds really interesting Giki. I will have to check it out.
I just started Ready Player One. It reminds me of Willy Wonka.
I am reading Civil Disobedience and other Essays by Henry David Thoreau and I have to say WOW. My mind is blown.

lol I am really looking forward to read Walden now. Just great thinking. I am on his essay about walking.

I got Sweet Temptation. Has anyone read any Lucy Diamond?
I have a ton of books that I bought from the library. Library sales are the devil! Then what did I turn around and do! I bought 2 box sets and the diary of Mr.Darcy! Holy Moly!

lol. I got so many! for less than 20 bucks. I cannot resist.

I am almost done with Cloud Atlas! Whoopie! Soon I can really focus on Game of Kings.
Now that I finished Game of Kings, I started Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

So we just started at the top of the list and took a book called Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet which nobody had heard of. I took it home and stated reading it blindly, not even reading the synopsis on the back. It is really enjoyable! I can't wait to get together with them and discuss it.
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet is one of my favorite books! It's such a beautiful, sad, loving story. I'm so glad you've found it and are enjoying it. I'm happy now, just remembering how much I loved it. :))))
