Here is a few things that caught my attention:
I'm curious about what happened with Rachel, Claire, and Jude. Especially since she came out of the building with only some bruises and out for three days while the others died.
The second thing is about the guy with the wife-beater shirt on with the dog. Is Mara seeing visions of the future, causing things to happen, or the ghosts of her friends?
Something tells me either Mara will be with Jamie or with Noah. She desires him even if she claims not to. Typical teen scene, the popular boy from England into her...
I'm not sure that if I'm fond of Mara. I think she is kind of snobby and so dang judgmental, than again this is a YA book, lol.
At least she is into the dog, that's one point I like.
Any notes for you?
I completed the book..:)) So excited to discuss with you once you finish too!
As for your first three points, I'd rather stay quiet and not spoil anything for you. As for me, I wasn't that fond of her either. I mean, she's okay. She's a little whiny and yes, definitely judgmental. Surprisingly, I didn't even like Noah that much. He's hot, but just okay. I think my favorite character out of them all has to be Daniel. Very supportive, friendly and a good brother he is.
As for my thoughts in this book, I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I'm a little confused about a few things and the ending was one hell of a shocker. Also, when what exactly is happening to Mara (and Noah) is finally explained in the book, that part got me a little confused too.
Anyway, looking forward to discussing with u!:)

Honestly I don't see this as a heavy paranormal or fantasy book. It's a low paranormal romance book.
How did you feel about the book? For me it's a two star book. I will not read the other books for this series.
Oh a different note: I did finish Cleopatra yesterday. That was a great book and I suggest you read it later on. She's an amazing person. So little is actually known of her. So intelligent.
Would you like to read another book? Cinder? or another book?
Okay...for me, it's a 3.5 star book. I still can't seem to form any clear-cut feelings for the book. At parts, I loved it but at other parts, it was so different than any other paranormal book I've read. But I will definitely go ahead with the other books.
About Cleopatra, yes I'll definitely read it someday. I'm glad you liked it:))
And yes, I'd love reading another book. Cinder....I'm gonna finish it today so no point in Buddy Reading...would u like to read The Opportunist instead?

I'm not interested in The Opportunist, I tend not like Chick Lit. I looked at If I Stay, that doesn't seem like I'd read that either.
Do any of these books sound interesting to you?
The Knife of Never Letting Go
or
Breathe
or
Legend
or
Ultraviolet
I didn't like the writing. It was so plain. I didn't like the characters. I didn't like the Noah-Mara romantic scenes (though there wasn't that much romance). Though the mystery and depth of the book was really good. There was a certain darkness to it...that's what appealed to me.
And it's fine if u don't want to read Opportunist:) And I already read If I Stay yesterday...was really good:) I'd like to go ahead with The Knife of Never Letting Go...wanted to read that for a while anyway:)

@Rachel...hey, I'm not getting the ebook of The Knife of Never Letting Go...could we read Legend instead?? I got the ebook of Legend:)

Here's the book trailer of it: Stolen.
I finished Legend....loved it to bits:)) Looking forward to ur thoughts! And thnx for the trailers:)

I didn't really like June at first, she was such a snob and looked down upon the poor. I'm happy she evolved and became more tolerable. It's like love changed her for the better.
I didn't like June that much either. Though I loved her attachment to her brother. Later on, she became better but I found Day to be the more appealing character of the two.
Even I'd like to read Prodigy...in fact, it's my next read, after I finish Scarlet (Cinder #2)...u wanna read it?

I'd like to read it. I'm on the next one on the wait list. I should get the book in the next few days. I have a few books to finish. I have to finish the Maze Runner Trilogy, Divergent Trilogy, and Farseer Trilogy. I'm the 5th person on the wait list for Cinder. I'm working on a few of the challenges posted for the group. I've finished a few challenges.
Ok then...we'll start with Prodigy whenever you want. I'll complete a few more books by that time...

How is Cider? What did you think of it?
I'm reading A Storm of Swords (third book of A Game of Throne--Fire and Ice Series). Awesome book but this book is so long and so much happens. I love it but it's a big book.
Cinder was awesome...loved it a lot. You should really read it. Storm of Swords...hmmm...I've been procrastinating on reading that for too long...maybe I will pick it up in July.
And okay then, Prodigy is the next read. Maybe we can even squeeze in Champion if we have the time.

I'm still waiting for Prodigy. It should be sent to me any moment. Any day now, any day...
I'm currently reading Where She Went by Gayle Forman and The Girl with the Dragon Tatto...I can start with Prodigy once I finish Where She Went...

Is Where She Went good? I've read If I Stay but in a dilemma whether to continue with the series or not.
I've just started it...so can't say much of the book. Though I've heard it's not as good as If I Stay.

I just looked up Where She Went, I will pass on that. I tend to avoid romance, especially YA romance, lol. Since I'm a little over twice your age I tend to like them a little racier, lol.

I will keep you posted about Prodigy.
Ok, sure. I'm currently reading Evolution of Mara Dyer. It will take me 4-5 days to complete it since my exams start on Friday and I'm reading slow. If you get the book, you can go ahead of me since I'll anyway be slow.
I'll tell you when I finish Mara Dyer
