Lorien squeezed his hand back and shot him a look over her shoulder. "We ask one of your Techno friends if they could run a facial scan. I was thinking maybe Kai. She was helpful last time."
"Sure," Lorien said, smacking the gadget into his palm as she prepared the Leapmaster. "Just tell me where we're going once you contact her."
Once Lorien set up the Leapmaster for any destination, she peered over the screen and waved at the other girl. "Hello! We're hoping if you could run another facial recognition scan for us."
"See you then," Lorien said as she made her way over to the Leapmaster, setting it to Foxfire. She looked around her shoulder and smiled at Lahke, walking underneath the crystals. "Come on then."
((*plays pinao dramatically* Will Lahke and Lorien survive? Stay tuned in this next episode of. . . The Adventures of Lahke and Lorien!!!!!))
Lorien was wandering towards the kitchen with sleepy eyes and a robe wrapped around her. She hated not getting any sleep because but she was worrying about Lahke but he did say he would call her if anything went better or anything bad. . . Regardless, she opened a cupboard and searched for some Mallowmelt.
Lorien slowly sliced herself a piece of Mallowmelt, unaware that people were trying to get inside the house which her creator was trying to yell in her head. What if Lahke and his family were hurt? All while she was eating in the middle of the night when she could be helping them!
"Lahke?" Lorien said, jumping away from the counter and tried to locate where Lahke was. "I'm in the kitchen!" How long was he here for? When did he get in? Well, it didn't matter. Lahke was here and is she knew for sure that he was truly safe.
That was odd. Lahke didn't talk softly like that. . . Regardless, Lorien headed towards the door and rounded a corner. She fixed her hair with a hobby pin and made sure it was in place while her silver hair hang straight down to her back. "I'm coming!0
Lorien's chest filled with panic and she ran straight for the front door. She wouldn't allow Lahke to get captured! So she spread her frosting abilities across the walls, hoping that they would spread.
Lorien felt the air encircle around her and pulled her towards the house. She tried squirming but it was ultimately useless. She hated feeling like she had now been allowed to get captured when Lahke and Clara needed her help!
They tricked her! And Lorien had fallen s right into their trap. Great. What happened if Lahke never came to Frostfire, assuming she was safe? What then? "I don't think he's coming," she said softly, trying to keep the anger in her voice at a bare minimum. "We. . . we had a disagreement." Now why would she say something like this? Well, she had no idea herself.
"About, what?" Lorien strained to ask. The wind grasp was rather tight and made ifdifficult to talk but she had to know what they were up to.
Now Lorien had to find a way to contact Lahke but now? She wasn't a Telepath, she couldn't very well use shadow vapor to communicate. . . her Imparter. She didn't bring it up to bed. And where was it? "Lahke!" Lorien screamed, hoping to have activated her Imparter. "Help!"
Lorien wanted to gasp but she couldn't. Not for a single moment. She wished the air would come back into her lungs, but she knew they were warning her to stop otherwise. . . the consequences were going to be severe. Maybe Lorien was hurting Lahke and his family by attempting to get help. So she kept her mouth shut.
Lorien twisted her hand behind her back so ice could trail up their legs. They never did say she couldn't use her abilities. Just a little farther now. . .
Okay, so thatvmade her stop with the frosting. Now fear took ahold of her and all hope that she was going to be found, stopped inside of Lorien. She smiled at the very fact they hadn't even thought about how they could escape. The Leapmaster wasn't too far away. Unless they were going somewhere no one could track hem. . .
Lorien stared at the purple bracelet and frowned. What was this suppose to do? Regardless, when the wind brought her over to the boy named Tark, she tried to squirm out of his grasp, not liking that she only wanted Lahke to hold her in such a way. But Lorien stayed silent and dread grew inside of her, wondering where on earth they were going now.
((Poor Lorien! Anyway, where we we going to now? >.<))

Gale strode across the invisible platforms that rested just above the surface of the water. It reminded her of ice, despite the tropical warmth, and she shivered. Reaching the entrance to the building, she pounded her fist on the doorway.
Lorien instantly peeked her ears at the direction where the noise came from. Despite herself, she hoped it was Lahke but knew it couldn't be. Regardless, she stood up from where she was bending over the coffee table and opened the door. She saw Gale standing by the door and gave a weak smile. "Hi, welcome to Frostfire."
"Your Noil's sister." Gale responded, getting straight to the point. Lorien didn't look anything like Noil, with her wide eyes and long pale hair. Gale wondered if she knew anything at all.
"Of course I'm Noil's sister," Lorien suddenly said a bit harsher than she should've. Hanging her head she apologized to the other girl, "I'm sorry. Please come in." She stepped out of the way and waited for Gale to follow her.
Lorien looked over her shoulder and stared at the girl curiously. Was she one of the people who believed he was dead, or was she looking for a confirmation. Lorien placed a small smile and said to the girl, "My brother died, in a fire."
Gale looked at her, staring hazard for any confirmation that what the girl said was true or false.
"You say that like it's a good thing."
"You say that like it's a good thing."
"I don't!" Lorien exclaimed, running a hand through her now light blue hair. "Me and my brother were very close and so. . . I just want go to know who was really responsible for his death."
Gale smiled, though it was so much less than her usual it was really more of an exhausted smirk.
"Well, good for you, I happen to know who tried too murder him. And I'll tell you in exchange for any information you can give me on where he is now."
It felt weird to be so free with information, but she wasn't keeping Fintan's secrets anymore. Besides, Lorien deserved to know.

"Excuse me?" Lorien asked the girl, turningbon her heels. She had to play this masquerade in order to keep her brother safe. If she didn't, he could be in tons of danger if she told this girl. "My brother is dead, and there is nothing you can do to change that!"
Gale cocked her head. "You know, you're a good liar. I would probably even believe you if I didn't have evidence that he's not."
Gale collapsed backwards onto a plush bench, folding her arms across her chest. "Listen, I've spent the last two months investigating his 'death', and there is no way he died in that fire. So lets just skip the deception and get to the part where you tell me where he is."
Gale gave her best hard look, trying to look more certain than she felt. She WAS sure about the fire. But there was still no way of knowing if Lorien could find him. Or if he hadnt been killed by something else.

Lorien wasn't about to tell anyone her brither wasn't alive, not even their parents knew, so she couldn't help herself as she let all the grief and pain consume her and lashed out at Gale with her frosting. Ice snakes up the older girl's ankles and finally up her neck. Not her face though, Lorien didn't want the girl to be permanently mute. "Tell me," she said darkly, her blue hair covering most of her face. "Why would It interest you so much to know about my brother's death?"
Gale held perfectly still as the ice crept up on her, it's tiny crystal fingers making her skin crawl. After a few moments, her reluctance to move turned into inability, the thick, twisting stalagmites holding her in place. She could feel the power in her own fingers, itching to come out and engulf her in flames. Or more ice.
The fire won.
It took a half-second for it to built up in her fingertips, before exploding outwards and shattering the icy manacles that held her arms to her sides. The flames raced onto her tunic and then outward, and she found she was able to move again, the thinning ice crackling as she grabbed Loriens hand and dragged her out of the way before a tongue of flame leaped over to envelop the spot she'd been standing a second before.

"You. . . you're," Lorien stammered as she tried to extinguish the flames with her ability. She then settled for dumping water on it with a bucket she conjured. "You're a Pyro."
Gale took one clump of sopping, tangled blond hair and began to wring it out, dragging her fingers through it to shake free the remaining flakes of glass.
"Don't you ever try to ice me again, Forster, or I will set you and this entire building on fire." She paused, surveying it. Frostfire's front room, which had been pristine three minutes ago, now looked as if it had suffered multiple natural disasters, the rugs and furniture singed black and soaking wet, and fragments of ice scattered across the floor like broken glass.

"Oh really?" Lorien seethed, unable to control herself. "I thought you said we were going to work on a project together. Clearly it isn't working so I'm just gonna have to ask you to leave, now." This girl was getting on her nerves. Sure, she made the first strike but Lorien didn't expect Gale to set fire to herself!
"Really? But it was going so well!" Gale sat down on the floor, crossing her legs and propping her face up with one hand.
"Okay, we've got the freaking-out part out of the way. What's next?"
"Okay, we've got the freaking-out part out of the way. What's next?"
"It wasn't. We haven't even started yet!" Lorien replied angrily to the girl. "What's next? You're going to leave this house and forget everything I said."
Lorien nodded again, dragging Lahke out of the office once she had placed everything away. "My father doesn't come home until late at night so we still have time if we were to come back here."
