Frostfire
Lorien sucked in a breath and turned her head towards the direction of her brother's voice.
"Noil?"
"Yup, here and in the flesh," Noil flashed a smile then winced. "Sorry, that was a bad joke."

Harmony stood there still, slightly behind and to the side of Noil. She said nothing. Not quite yet.

Noil then sat in a chair so he was facing them both. He extended a hand to the boy. "I'm Noil. You must be pretty good otherwise she wouldn't be seeing you."
All Lorien could do was stare. Her brother was here, in Frostfire, and he was actually talking and speaking.

Harmony went to stand behind the chair Noil was sitting it. She smiled softly and gave Lorien and the boy a small wave.
Noil crossed his legs. "I suppose you have questions, Lorien."
One of those many questions that popped up were: "Who's she? Your girlfriend?"

Noil smiled softly. "She is. . . a very good friend. Harmony."
"Oh," Lorien simply said. She turned to Lahke and gripped his arm tightly. "Please don't. But if you have to take care of Clara, you may."

Um Harmony stood there still, not doing anything but being in existence because I'll feel back if I pass again.
Noil let out a breath and said, "I'd say how you're doing but it seems like you've been doing absolutely awful, which i can't blame you in any way," He took another breath. "Are mother and father home?"
Lorien shook her head. "No. Father left for work and mother is taking to some friends. Why?"
"Because they aren't who we think they are," Noil said gravely. "Mother and Father are two agents working with the Neverseen. They've been feeding the organization with countless amounts of information about humans. Notice how Father always left unexpectedly? It was because he was to study, and report back to them all his findings. Mother was ordered to keep an eye on us and kept us often distracted and wouldn't allow us to think about Father's comings and goings."
Lorien could only stared st her brother. "Are they really our parents?"
Noil smiled sadly. "They are, but they claimed in their reports that they're protecting us from a greater evil."
"But they aren't really doing anything wrong," Lorien pointed out. "They were just collecting information on humans."
"That is true," Noil rubbed his neck. "However, this all thing about humans does concern us. It concerns the whole Lost Cities! Fintan's building an army. Yes, an army. And I have to figure out what it is. Whether they're using humans as the poor people who will be forced to fight or not, I have to find out." Noil looked at Harmony pleadingly. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I've been sorry for a lot of things but this does concern the Blackberry Swan if the Neverseen is up to something."

Noil smiled gratefully at her. "Thank you." Turning his attention back to Lorien he said, "We're both not safe with them around. Not even Kayla. We need to move."
Lorien laughed bitterly. "Well clearly you've already done that. Where have you been all this time? Running around with the Neverseen? Or have you been switching sides?"
Noil frowned. "I'm not with the Neverseen. I thought the recording explained that."
"It did," Lorien assured him. "But I wanted to hear it from you."
"Oh. Well I think it's best if all three of us leave. Now."
"I can't just leave!" Lorien exclaimed. "What about Frostfire? They're gonna notice if me or Kayla is gone and not to mention that our parents will also."
"You have a point there. Once you're graduated, we can take your death, just like I did with mine, and there goes one problem."
"You're not thinking about Kayla," Lorien shook her head. "She was devastate when she thought you had died, Noil. How do you think she could handle another death from a sibling? It will, crush her."
Noil sighed. "I saw her, crying in the halls. I have seen it, you know."
Lorien slumped back into the couch. "That settles that then. I'm not gonna die anytime soon, fake or not, and leave thhis place. Maybe Kayla and I could find something about our. . . parents."
Noil shook his head sadly. "It's too dangerous for more people knowing I'm alive. The less people know, the better. In a matter of fact," Noil glared at the boy sitting next to Lorien. "I shouldn't even be talking about this with you here. Who on earth are you?"
Lorien laughed bitterly. "Well clearly you've already done that. Where have you been all this time? Running around with the Neverseen? Or have you been switching sides?"

Harmony sized Lahke up with an almost nonexistent frown. "I think I can speak for Noil as well when I say that it's much appreciated that you stayed with Lorien in her time of need." She smiled slightly. "You are not viewed as an enemy," she assured. "But at the moment I'm sensing some tension, to put it kindly, in you and I'm curious as to why that is."
Noil sighed as she rested his chin on an open palm. "I'm curious also. Think of it this way: if you saw a mysterious boy wrap an arm around your sister while you were away from quite some time, what would you do? Throw him out of the house, even though he's been amazing in protecting her, or, ask him questions?"
Lorien stared curiously at Lahke. He may have not done the latter if he was away from Clara and some guy was also in the home with her and decided to pop around.

"That last statement adds to why you should allow yourself to be interrogated," Harmony chirped. "You have a younger sister, correct? When she has her own boyfriend, won't you want to question him to make sure he's 'good enough' or whatever reason?"
"Which is exactly what I'm doing to you now," Noil said sternly. "I want to make sure Lorien is safe from anyone who might prove to be other than what they appear to be. People can change personalities quickly when given the chance."
"But Lahke has been more than kind to me," Lorien argued. "Which is more than what I can say for you. And yes, he does have a sister and I'm sure he'll protective over her, but he's not the one who's in a secret organization."

"Nice to meet you too . . . sorry what did you say your name was?" Noil asked with a hint of sarcasm as he smiled.
Lorien shook her head and rolled her eyes and asked with a hint of bitterness. "Are you done here? Or were there more secret plans you wanted to reveal to us?"
Noil sighed. "I just wanted to check up you. See how you were doing and make sure you were alright."

"Be kind," Harmony gently scolded, patting Noil's head. She smiled at Lorien. "I understand that this is a bit of a shock right now and that your anger is gonna catch up with you soon, but keep in mind that Noil has missed you too, and just wants to be in yours and Kayla's lives again."
Lorien crossed her arms. "A bit late for that because, last I checked, he's dead and he shouldn't even be talking to us."
"Yes, yes," Noil sighed. "We get that i'm suppose to be dead but not, moving on," He stood up from his chair and smiled down at them both. "I missed you and Kayla. When the time comes I will tell her also but not right now. Right now she needs to focus on her studies not her dead and gone brother," He looked at Harmony. "I think that about raps it up. Pleasure meeting you Lahke," His face darkened as he spoke and leaned in to whisper in Lahke's ear. "If you dare to hurt my sister, which I haven't seen yet, you'll be having more heat in your life, understand?"

Harmony subtly kicked Lahke in the leg so Lorien couldn't see while she flicked Noil on the back of the head. "That's enough boys." She smiled at Lorien again. "Lovely to meet you Lorien. I hope you'll change your mind about your feelings towards your brother." She looked at Noil. "Come on."
Noil stood up to his full height and smiled sadly at Lorien. "Lovely meeting you again sister. However short it was."
"Oh it was just right," Lorien said stiffly. "Tell me when you're ready to come home."
Noil winced. "That may not be for a while."
"Well just tell me anyway," Lorien rested her head on Lahke's shoulder. "I believe you know the exit."
Noil nodded and saluted Lahke. "Take care."
He softly kissed Lorien's forehead and pulled out a pathfinder. Noil wrapped his arm around Harmony's waist as the light pulled them away.

Lorien snuggled her head deeper into his shirt. "As well as I can be."
The very fact that her brother wanted to see her, much less here, wanted to send her crying in tears. But she couldn't do that. Lahke had already seen her cry enough. She shouldn't be such a weak person in front of him. But what of her brother?
The visit did surprise her but she knew it would happen anyway. Her brother would say he was sorry and wanted to make things better or say that he would stop fooling around even if he knew what trouble it would cause him.
At least now she had Lahke. The one elf who always stuck by her side no matter what happened.

Lorien stayed there for a moment before reaching up to touch his shoulders and laid her hands there for a moment. Then she moved them down to his waist and hugged him as if he was the only thing on this earth who could help.
Lahke probably was and she knew that if she had asked him to go anywhere with her, he would follow. But not if it brought danger to his family or to himself.

Lorien sighed gratefully. Then her eyes widen and she quickly sat upright.
"Your mother wanted to meet my parents," She covered her mouth then looked wildly around the room. "Before. . . our memories were gone!"

"But all I can do is worry," Lorien mumbled softly. "Worrying about you, about my parents, about Noil, even about Foxfire and if I'll survive it," She gently took his hands off her cheeks and squeezed them. "And Freea and Frana, the Neverseen and if they'll come back to hurt you. Nowadays all I do is worry."
Lorien gave him a warm smiled and leaned onto his side.
"I guess so," she took a deep breath in and out and finally closed her eyes. "But I don't want to lose my family or you if anything should happen."

Lorien did as she was instructed and found it surprisingly calm to do it. Her heartbeat wasn't near as fast as it was before and she was able to think and relax.
Her previous memories of him and her raced through and all the silly adventures they went through. It was a pleasant thought despite how awful their situations

"What should we do now?" Lorien asked him, curious as to his response. "Pops? Probably closed. Stay here until my father comes home?" She laughed at that. Her father may be furious to see her when he came home.
"A picnic would be lovely," Lorien said with a dreamy sigh. "And I wouldn't expect my family to be here until evening. Where shall we have the picnic? In the yard or at the park?"
((In the end, Lorien & Lahke decided to go out for a picnic at a park. It was lovely with just the two of them together.))
((Haha! Yes! I've been thinking of a few things for them to encounter. . . may the Adventures of Lahke & Lorien continue! :D))
"Home sweet, home," Lorien said as they entered the living room. "My father's office is an insanely clean place so if you pick something out of it's proper place, be sure to put it back otherwise we'll be in loads of trouble."
"I think I may have an idea, mostly because my creator forgot what we were doing in the first place but first, to my father's office!" Lorien explained, dragging Lahke by the wrist and down a hallway.
((Sorry. I totally forgot what they were doing here in the first place. >.< I'll go read that one up again.))

((Nah. You're not lame. ^.^ It is funny though when a character says, "My creator did so and so". >.<))
They were soon greeted by two large, navy blue doors which were the entryway to her father's office.
"Now I forgot how much I hated this part of the house."

"It's rather intimidating, isn't it?" Lorien asked, sucking in a breath and taking Lahke's hand. "Okay. I can't remember if there are any security measures but I doubt he would put something like that in his home."
((Haha! Hey, um, I forgot. *scratches neck* Did they found out that her father is with the Neverseen? -_-))

((I know!!! It's hard to keep these things straight. >.< But really and truly, do you remember if they found anything about her father being Neverseen?))
Lorien sighed and took a step forward, walking along with Lahke into the office. "Off we go then."
Lorien sighed and took a step forward, walking along with Lahke into the office. "Off we go then."
((Oh yeah! That's right! See? Glad I have you around.))
Lorien set out towards the side of the office where there were loads of books and other gizmos as well. As soon as you walked into the office, a large glass window greeted your which looked out onto a lake below. A black, sleek desk in the center and rows of bookshelves covered both sides.

((Gah! So, so sorry!!!! >.<))
Lorien sighed as she continued searching in her father's many boxes which were neatly placed in shelves.
What if they didn't find any information about the guy who took Clara? It would seem unlikely for her father to have a paper waving right under their noses in Frostfire. So if it wasn't here where could it be?

Lorien dropped a book on the wooden floor as soon as Lahke finished speaking. She sighed, bending over to pick the book up. Then saying in an unusually soft but firm voice, she said, "Then we have to work faster."
Lorien sighed again at Lahke's vent of frustration. She wanted to walk over to Lahke and comfort him but I thought that it may make things worse. She then said softly, "Look Lahke, I know you're frustration, I can hardly blame you, but being frustrated isn't going to help Clara right now. We need to be patient and who knows? Maybe Leo found something that could help."
((Awwww. Poor little Lahke. *pats his head* There there. Everything will be okay. Your creator will figure out how to solve this problem.))
((Lahke! How could you? Your creator is definitely NOT mean! You should be ashamed of yourself!))
"Good," Lorien said, nodding in agreement. "I'll just continue looking here. My father doesn't usually keep facial records but maybe I could find them. . ." She strode over to Mr. Forst's desk and check through the drawers. A few folders were placed nicely. One read: Secret! Another read: Members. "Members! Lahke! I think I I got something." She flipped through the folder and scanned each page. Most of the members seemed to be young while a few looked to be mid-adults. She saw Freea and Frana in the pile and barely looked over their sheets. Then she came across the same boy they saw at Darkhallow. "Now I definitely found something."

((Oh. Well, um, we kind of needed that to happen?))
"Who is this kid?" Lorien asked, mostly to herself. She snatched the file and conjured it into the void, mumbling a password to herself and connecting herself with it. "There. It will be safe and now I think we got what we came for. Let's go."

Noil cleared his throat loudly and smoothed down his now combed hair. "Lorien, and some random person i do not know, it's Noil."
