The following morning, Lorien woke up seeing two elixirs on her bedtable along with a note.
Take care was all it said.
Take care was all it said.
Lorien felt a bit dizzy after the leap. She stumbled a little bit but quickly snapped out of it.
"Home, sweet home."
"Home, sweet home."
Lorien came to a rock solid wall below the cliffs and placed her home crystal into a slot that fit perfectly. The wall glowed blue, allowing the two elves to pass through.
Lorien walked through the translucent wall and waited for Lahke to follow.

"Glad you like it." Lorien smiled.
She never really brought anyone to Frostfire before so she was happy to see that Lahke was bouncing from his feet.

When they both reached the top, two elves stood in the middle of an open living space. Glass was formed in a dome above their heads and to the left, they had an excellent view of the glittering blue lake.
"Where have you been?" Her father, Raden Forster asked. He glared from across the room in his formal attire.

Lorien's voice shook. "Hi, dad. Mom."
Both parents were the exact opposite. While her mom was overly concerned, her dad was the not-so-sensitive type.
Her mother rushed over to her and held her face. "Are you alright, Lorien?"
Raden just glared not only at Lorien but at Lahke. "And who are you, young man?"

Lorien pulled away from her mother. "There's something I need to tell you both."
"Alright dear." Diala moved Lorien to the plush couch.
Raden's face soften a little and sat stiffly on the couch. "What do you care to share with us?"

Lorien took a deep breath and told her parents everything about her brother. She saw as their faces twisted into pain and then . . . sadness.
She told them he faked his death and that he was a Pyro. Lorien also told them that he was alive and somewhere in the Lost Cities.
The part when she said that Noil was part of the Neverseen, Diala finally gave out and burst into tears, clutching her head. Her father wrapped a comforting arm around her mother.
His voice was heavy and thick with emotion. "Our son is alive?"
Lorien nodded, feeling tears of her own escape. "Yes."

Raden eyed them both. "Something we should also know about?"
Her mother pleaded with her father. "Please, Raden. Not now."
He stroked her hair. "Yes dear."
Raden glared at Lahke as he transmitted, Something you want to tell me son?

Lorien noticed the exchange between her father and Lahke. She hoped they would get along fine.
Very well. We'll discuss it later. Raden responded.

Lorien knew that she probably was soaking Lahke's tunic in drool and snot but honestly? She didn't care. Her brother was still out there and she had to find him. For her family.
Raden cleared his throat. "I believe this young man and I need to have a chat," He gestured at both Lorien and Diala. "Why don't you both freshen up in the conservatory?"
Lorien nodded and held her mother's frail hand in hers.
Lorien nodded and held her mother's frail hand in hers.
"So I take it you are having a liking for my daughter, correct?" Raden said, raising an eyebrow.
"Hmmm. Am I right I assuming that you're . . . dating her?" Raden drawled out the words as he spoke.
"I guess there comes a time where your daughter won't tell you everything." Raden gave out a long sigh. "If Diala approves of this also, we may allow you two to see each other."
"That does sound like her," Raden smiled slightly. "I think it will do Lorien well to have a fellow like you around to comfort her at least."
Her father's face suddenly turn hard as stone. "But if you dare hurt her, boy," Raden made Lahke slap his face. "You'll have to face me."
"Yes, we shouldn't." Raden sat back on the couch. "I would like to know more about you, though."
"Oh I believe you should mention it son. Tell me everything. Because if you're hiding something from Lorien, I understand that but me, her father? Just let those secrets slide."
"It is to me. The better I know about you, the better we'll get along." Raden smirked.
((I would NOT want to be Lahke right now. Raden's too . . . terrifying.))

"Good. Shall we enjoy the company of our ladies then?" Raden removed himself from the couch and walked up the ramp to the conservatory.
((Scary!!!!))
((Scary!!!!))
Lorien jumped. Don't do that! As soon as she saw who it was she transmitted quickly. Sorry, Lahke. If you survived my father he must like you.
Lorien laughed. He's not that bad. You learn how to deal with him.
"Everything okay Lorien?" Her mother asked.
"Everything okay Lorien?" Her mother asked.
"Yes mother." Lorien mumbled while glaring at Lahke.
I'll get you later.
Raden cleared his throat. "What do you plan on doing about your brother Lorien?"
I'll get you later.
Raden cleared his throat. "What do you plan on doing about your brother Lorien?"
Lorien gave Lahke a pleading look but sighed. "I have a plan, father. Though I don't you both will approve."
Okay. We'll figure it out. Lorien transmitted.
"Let's hear it then." Raden said, wrapping his arms around his wife.

See you at school then. Lorien gave him a weak smile.
She turned to her parents. "So . . ."
Lorien explained that Lahke and herself would go to the Sanctuary disguised as members of the Council to find the beasts that could find Noil.
Her parents murmured to each other as they nodded.

((True. Is that the end of their Roleplay? Or can we continue it somewhere else? The picture pretty funny!))
Lorien nodded. "Yup, I just need to get something first and then I'll meet at your place. Sound good?"
Lorien sighed. She hoped Lahke would be alright to travel for Exillium. Maybe going there was such a good idea after all.
Lorien jumped then sighed with relief when she saw who it was. "Good. Thank you for getting them."
