"No, it's fine," Lorien sighed. "I was thinking that we can go into the history books and find some clues. We could just walk up and ask them about your father's and my brother's registry pendants. Though I'm sure they've taken them off already."

Lorien gave out a small laugh. "I have no doubt."
So they stayed at the library for hours. Searching through history books as to whether they could find some information about their relatives. Unfortunately, Lorien didn't find anything whatsoever.

"You said it," Lorien said, slamming more books on their already growing pile. "I haven't found a single thing!"

"No, I'm fine," Lorien said, flipping through the pages.
She felt her eyes were burning and she had to rub them every few minutes.

Lorien gave a small smile. "I suppose so. A little break will do us both some good."

"Okay. The library doesn't close for hours so we should be good," Lorien leaned on his arm. "Where do you want to go?"

"Hm. Will Pops! be alright?" Lorien asked.

"So do I," Lorien said, kissing his cheek.

"You can go to Atlantis later," Frana stepped out of the bookshelves with a smirk. "Cause I have some questions."

"Nah, that's my sister's specialty as I'm sure you've noticed," Frana jerked her head at Lorien and Lahke's position. "Does everyone know you're this protective over her?"

Lorien kept one eye on Frana.
What was she doing here? Didn't they answer her questions?

"I think you missed something. My . . . acquaintances tell me that you know where my sister is exactly," Freea looked over Lahke. "And I mean exactly."

"Been there, done that," Frana shrugged. "They said she escaped."

"Escaped?" Lorien whispered.
How as that possible? Lahke said Freea would be out soon but it didn't mean he helped in her trying to get out, could it?

Frana shook her head. "No one saw her. Some of the Waywards told me that she was one of their most talented Hydros."

"As far as she's concerned, I don't even exist," Frana said, sitting on a chair.

"Are you sure about that?" Frana asked, staring at her nails.

Lorien shook her head. "She never mentioned anything."

Freea sighed. "I see. Very well, I suppose I have no choice," Freea stood up from her chair. "You're both coming with me."

"There must be something you're not telling me," Frana almost yelled.

"Noil? Your brother?" Frana waited for Lorien to nod. As soon as she did, Frana said, "Doesn't anyone else think it's odd that Noil and Freea seem to be a bit too connected?"

"Maybe they know each other more than we think," Frana placed a hand below her chin. "Cause, come on, does your brother seem the type to trust Freea with a message?"

Lorien shook her head. "It does seem a bit out of place for him-"

"And there we go!" Frana slammed her hand on the table. "Your brother and my sister must know each other so much better than we think!"

"Some brother," Frana huffed. "What I'm think is that if we find Noil then we can find Freea!"

"So? We can just reverse it!" Frana beamed. "This is brilliant! So what did you guys find on Noil? Anything about his whereabouts?"

Lorien's lip trembled as she mumbled, "We didn't find anything about my brother."

Frana's face fell. "Oh. Right. I think I got all the information I need anyway. I just need to find Noil first."

"It was a deadens at the park if you want to check there," Lorien said, hugging Lahke.

Frana waved him off. "It's fine. I guess I should've expected it. Finding Freea will never be easy."

Frana smiled. "I hope I don't have to see either of you too soon."

"The less we see of each other, the safer you'll be from Freea," Frana explained.

"I can handle my sister," Frana laughed. "But thanks for the warning."

"That's true," Frana sighed. "I only met her when I was five and she was just a toddler at the time."

"Three years apart. I bet you didn't notice, huh?" Frana winked. "I will always be the oldest and she will always be the youngest."

"Eighteen actually," Frana smirked. "It's nice that you think me as being so much older."

"We don't have any other siblings in my family if that was what you're going to ask next," Frana said.

"I'm positive, unlike my sister," Frana sighed. "I looked through our records to see if there were any more of us. There wasn't."

"I guess I'll see you two when I have Freea back," Frana pulled out her pathfinder. "Bye!"

Lorien hugged Lahke tighter.

"I'm fine," Lorien said, her voice shaking.
She hated that even the very mention of her brother from other people made her like this. It made her feel . . . vulnerable.

"I'm fine," Lorien said. "I just need to sit."
She pulled out a chair and slumped into it.

Lorien slowly looked up at him. She smiled. "Thank you."
She wasn't sure if she should dump more of her problems on Lahke. He already knew what happened so why tell it again?

Lorien snapped her fingers and a bowl of custard bursts appeared.
"I think we might be here for a while."

"If you want to go back home and look after your mother, I'll be fine. I can ask some acquaintances to come over," Lorien said, snapping her fingers again and a notebook appeared.

Lorien nodded. "Sure. I'll be right here, racking my brains."

((Hmmmm. SHOULD Freea or Frana meet up at Lahke's place?))

"Nah. I good here," Lorien gestured to the bowl with her pen and smiled.

That was one of the best books Laurelle ever read! She returned it to the proper shelf and a book right next to it caught her eye. She sat down and began flipping through the pages.

Laurelle went to go put the book back when she ran into some one, "Whoa! You have a red face!" She exclaimed then covered her mouth. She wasn't supposed to say that, "I mean, hey, hi how are ya? I'm Laurelle Haley!"

Laurelle raised an eyebrow but smiled, "Naljakis. Cool name."

"Laurelle," she corrected, "Haley's my last name."

Laurelle smiled, "I always thought it was kind of lame."

"It's still a pretty awesome name," said Laurelle, "Being unique is great."

"Come on," Laurelle insisted, "Naljakis is an awesome name! You have to admit it!"

Laurelle laughed, "Actually yeah, books. Just needed something new to read, that's all."
