Kyler already had a few books when Nara found him. "Do you think five is to much?" He asked her.
"Okay." Kyler nodded then went and checked the books out. He walked back to Nara and put an arm loosely around her waist, carrying the books in his other arm. "Come along now." He grinned and pulled her with him outside.
Kyler chuckled and shook her lightly. He lifted his home crystal and stepped into the beam with Nara.

Darious heard books smacking to the ground and cringed. Whoever was throwing books must be having either a bad day or they just enjoyed tossing books around.
Darious slammed his textbook closed and marched over to the noise.
"In case you didn't notice, this is a library and . . . oh. Hello, Ares." Darious said with a smirk.

"Oh, you know. Incredibly boring, but you just got here, throwing books, and I'm assuming things are going to be a lot interesting." Darious said.
"Nah it's fine. But if it was someone else. . . well, the principal will have to take care of that." Darious winked.
"Doesn't sound like it's fine and dandy. C'mon Ares. Maybe I can of help to you and your family." Darious said.
"Okay. Have you thought about checking her Foxfire records or Exillium? Maybe she attended one of those places." Darious said.
"You guys sure are thorough." Darious sighed. "Do you guys have something that could trace her leap?"
"Couldn't you guys trace the signal?" Darious suggested. "Or maybe you could find where she teleported from and use your abilities to trace it!"
"Don't you guys have some sort of security at your house also? Cause you guys seem to the type to have that stuff. Maybe you can ask the gnomes if they saw her teleport." Darious said.
"I'm serious when I say when we make the best prankster team ever. With my looks and skills and with you freakishly good gadgets and abilities," Darious wrapped his arm around her. "We could be unstoppable and put all the other pranksters at Foxfire to shame!"
Of course, that earned him a few glaring students and getting hushed by the librarians.

"Maybe I heard you wrong but I think you said, 'I need to go to this crazy place with out any distractions'," Darious mimicked her voice perfectly and smirked. "I'm coming with you."
"Come on Hada, let me come with you on this one and you probably won't see me again." Darious smirked.
"I don't need to charm my way out of this - though thank you for admitting I'm good looking," Darious held her hands and stared at her with plea. "Please Ares, let me help you."
"Sorry but it looked like that guy was going to grab us so I leaped us here," Darious looked around then whispered, "Who was that guy anyway?"
Darious knew he shouldn't but he quickly grabbed Ares' arm.
"Please, Ares. I want to help you and your family."
"Please, Ares. I want to help you and your family."
Darious took a step closer. He was so close that their shoes were almost to touching.
"I want to help. I know what it's like. I stood there helpless when the Council accused my mother of being a psycho, when she really wasn't. She begged me to do nothing, so I stood there, staring as they took her away. I don't want to feel like that again."

"Oh, I get it alright," Darious sneered back. "Don't you see? I don't want to be helpless. I want to help you! Is that too hard to believe?"
"That's just it! I can't forget about you!" Darious ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "I just can't."
"I just. . . I don't want to see anyone else get hurt the way I did. And especially not from you." Darious said calmly.
"You're right. I guess I don't understand," Darious growled. "But I do understand that you need help getting your mother and your father and justify them on their actions."
"I''m not talking about the Council," Darious snorted. "I'm talking about the whole family. Relatives, aunts, uncles, the whole shebang. If they haven't seen your parents' actions, maybe you have security at home and they caught something."
"The nerve of people these days. Okay, now I get why you didn't want me to help you but I really want to. Your parents . . . no. They don't deserve to be called your parents after what they've done." Darious said.
"Please tell me you're crying, though you have every right to. I know maybe you're not a hugger, but maybe," Darious wrapped his arms around her softly. "This will be okay."
"Charm my way? Never heard that one before," Darious smiled warmly. "I'm serious though. I'd never do that to any other girl so I'm not going to start with you."
"Your weakness?" Darious looked at her, waiting to see if she was joking. When she didn't he said, "Look, I'm not trying to expose your weakness, whatever that might be, but I am trying to help. Just let me, please?"
"Okay, fine," Darious sighed. "I guess I'll see you later though. Remember, I have a Telepath friend who can listen to your thoughts and transmit them to me so you better not go anywhere without me."
Lorien slowly made her way to a table. She was exhausted from school work and today had to be, by far, the worst day ever.
Her Froster mentor, told her to create an ice cube then conjured it inside the room while hurling the cube at a wall.
It was surprising that she could use two abilities at once. What was even more surprising was how much that session took out of her. More than she wanted to admit.

"Absolutely horrible!" Lorien groaned. "My ability mentor had me conjure an ice cube and hurl it across the room. It was dreadful!"
