Anca | 10 comments The girl has strength and can heal injured animals. A boy was hurting a bird on the bank of a river , she punched the boy and later healed the injured bird. Her mother belongs to a community , non-human, may call themselves morro'i ( can't really remeber the name and when I google I come up with Vampire Academy, but this is not the book I'm looking for). There's a boy following her, from the same non-human community, and when he sees her, something happens between them (their eyes recognise each others' souls) because they are like "soul-mates", but it's described in a different way, like a bond-pair kind of thing. She eventually goes to a place with him where everyone is like her, but she has something more special than all, because she is a mix of them( the race from that community) and their enemy, I believe. She eventually ends up having hell-hounds as loyal pets that she can keep in that community and she becomes a great warrior.

MJ | 1617 comments Relentless. Love the series.

Just finished rereading cause Nik's pov came out. That was a bit of a let down. More expensive and just 'point, point, point' like a report to fill in the few blanks there were. There were a few good things about it, but not too much new info...

Anca | 10 comments Thanks a lot. I checked the series and I think you're right. This might be the series I was looking for. I will start rereading it and I'll see.

Anca | 10 comments Thanks a lot for the help. This is what I was looking for. Totally loved the series and also Nik's pov. Didn't sound like a report to me, cause I understood a lot of his reactions which I didn't approve of when they were told from her side of the story. Anyway, a great overall series.

MJ | 1617 comments I think my problem was it was too much 'telling this or that happened' and not enough 'in the moment'. If it's incorporated in the original book, it can work, but needs more finesse if your going to keep it separate AND charge for it IMO. The other pov's always good tho. I hope she keeps the series going. I'd love to read about (view spoiler)
