Audiobook
A Caldecott/Newbery award winner (or honorable mention)
A mystery
From this years: a book everyone should read list
A play
A book from Books Sandwiched In or Brownbag Book discussion
A book from GRTR (I know it's only been going 5-7 yrs, but it could be a great online discussion category)
A book from an MCLS booklist (adult/teen/child)
A craft book (with maybe a component of making?)
A professional book

You won't be surprised that I'm saying this, but graphic novels should always be on the list, because a lot of people still haven't ever read one! Maybe even in more than one category, since it's a format and not a genre...
I'll be back in MCLS at the end of the year, so, yes! Looking forward to rejoining the group. :)

A nonfiction graphic "novel" for adults.
A book on the tiny house movement.
A Scandinavian mystery.
A hard-boiled detective novel.
A book about Islam.

A book set in Iceland
A new age book (but not Lynn Andrews.....)
A religious fiction book
A book set in India
So what do you guys think of an A to Z Challenge? You create your own list, but have to read one book for every letter of the alphabet. You can mix titles and authors, or track titles or authors.
