Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I didn't think of Vast. I thought of last.

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) We need more on the third word.

message 253: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments There are so many words that fit and don't make sense, or will only make sense if we had any idea what the third word was. I have no clue what it could be, do you have any guesses for the 3rd word is?

message 254: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments The next letter we have to guess is L

message 255: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments That last one is quite close, Melany.

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I was thinking where but nothing makes since then tried never still no sense.

I agree with L. I don't know when my next review will be up. Do you have anything coming up?

message 257: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Maybe if I rush through another short book, but otherwise no

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) This next quote is a big one.

message 259: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Yes, but at least we got this annoying one out of the way!

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Yes. By the way, great guess.

message 261: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Lol thank!

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) You're welcome. Guessing on how easy this next read is for me, I will probably have another review up Wednesday.

message 263: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Cool, I don't know when I'll be able to get my next review up.

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I thought this new book would take a while for me with 401 pages but I started it at lunch and already page 48. It's reading fairly easy.

For work I will have thursday, friday, and saturday off so I will more than likely get a bunch of reading done then.

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments After I finish The Hammer of Thor (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #2) by Rick Riordan , I'm going to finish up the Cirque Du Freak series so that's 3 short books I can get through quickly

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) How's everyone's reading?

message 267: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Mine is going ok, how's your going?

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "Mine is going ok, how's your going?"

It's alright. I haven't really been in the mood to read. Plus with Thanksgiving coming up I have been busy getting ready for that.

message 269: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I can understand that, and it's hard to stay in a reading mood all month during challenges.

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "I can understand that, and it's hard to stay in a reading mood all month during challenges."

Yes it is. Another reason for me is that I do have an urge to read but it's a certain genre which I don't have any books in at the moment in that genre. I'm trying to not buy any books here lately due to Christmas time and I have many books that are going unread that I've had for more than a year. Plus Wy won't let me. He doesn't trust me to go into a book store or go on Amazon.

Bunnita (Worth Reading It?) (bunnita) | 328 comments I'm struggling with my reading this month too

Glad I'm not the only one having this problem.

message 273: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Me too it's hard because we rushed ourselves to have a book review up almost everyday in the beginning

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "Me too it's hard because we rushed ourselves to have a book review up almost everyday in the beginning"

Yes. Good news though just finished a book and have my review ready. What letter should I guess.

message 275: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments T, R, N, or S are all safe choices

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Jamie (The Kansan Reader) wrote: "How's everyone's reading?"

I've been in the worst reading slump of the year this month. I'm still trying to get through my four BRs. I'm reading a four book series right now that got me out of my slump but don't count since I read them back in April. D:

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments As long as you write a new review you can count rereads, Bookbuyer. :)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments If so I have two books I can count in the next hour. I just need to write a new review!!! :D

I should also have a third one done today! I'm thrilled right now!!!!! :D

message 280: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Nov 23, 2016 09:38AM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Since it's a new puzzle I went ahead and guessed T. I'll think I use either S or R for the next guess for Murder of Crows (writing the review now.)

message 281: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I think S and R are safe choices. Also I love the Others series!!

Me too! I've read Written in Red and Murder of Crows three times now and Vision in Silver twice after this re-read. :)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I've been thinking about rereading the series actually, I know I'm going to reread all of the book before Etched in Bone!

I was planning on not re-reading them again till March since that's when Etched in Bone comes out but now I'm not sure if I'll need to or feel like re-reading them again so soon. :/

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Glad that was helpful, Bookbuyer. :)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments C P wrote: "Glad that was helpful, Bookbuyer. :)"

It REALLY was. I was getting kind of depressed and desperate since I hadn't been able to contribute to the team at all yet and it's the 23rd! But now I've got at least two reviews in and I feel really good. :)

message 287: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I'm at 54% of Vision in Silver (The Others, #3) by Anne Bishop and I'm hoping to have it done today. :)

message 288: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments I enjoy rereading books so I try not to limit them too much in challenges. If they are actually being read and reviewed, it doesn't matter if they were read in the past as well. :)

I'm really happy to know that because I do tend to re-read the same books over and over each year. Now I know I can do that in this group. :D

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments This is what I have for the quote so far.

"_ _ t * I * DOn't * KnOW * hOW * tO * BE * _ n _ _ _ * WIth
* h _ _ * FOR * t _ _ _ _ _ * _ _ * WhEn * I * stILL * hAVEn't
*FORGIVEn * h _ _ * FOR * _ _ _ _ _ n _ * ME"

I think the next letters we should guess is R and B

Building on what you built.

"BUt * I * DOn't * KnOW * hOW * tO * BE * AnGRY * WIth
* hIM * FOR * t _ _ _ _ _ * _ _ * WhEn * I * stILL * hAVEn't
*FORGIVEn * hIM * FOR * _ _ _ _ _ n _ * ME"

message 292: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I thought it was "angry" too but I wasn't sure, I have no idea what the two other words are, but I kinda think the other two letter word is "me"

message 293: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I want to say the quote is But I don't know how to be angry with him for taking it when I still haven't forgiven him for [blank] me.

But it's missing a n in taking and I can't find the quote. :/

message 294: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I can't find a quote that fits either, every word that makes sense in that spot end with "ing" so it can't be that because there is no N in the word or "ed" and then it doesn't make sense with the rest of the quote

message 295: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Nov 23, 2016 09:52PM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Guess we'll just have to wait till one of us can post another review.

I'm still hoping to get Vision in Silver done tonight but will probably hold off on writing the review until tomorrow.

Then I think I'm going to try reading one of my BR books again so we can get a vowel. :)

I think we should do a vowel since it's harder to get those. :/

I can use B when I post my review for Vision in Silver though. :)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments True, so do you think we should go with E?
