message 203: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments What book do you plan on reading for the rest of the month? Let's seee if we can get another buddy read!

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I am going to start reading Under the Dome, Ruby Red, and Shadow and bone.

I am current reading the Vampire Lestat but can start any of the other three any time.

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I think we need to use the W or switch it and use it

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I fine with using it or if you think there is a better letter switch it to that.

message 207: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Maybe L but I'm not sure, do you think we should stick with the W, I mean at least I'm pretty sure it there at least, I'm pretty sure the second word is "how"

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Yes let's go with W.

Are you going to start The Darkest Minds any time soon?

message 215: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments So I think we are going to really need a buddy read for this one!

I currently reading Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2) by Amie Kaufman and His Majesty's Dragon (Temeraire, #1) by Naomi Novik

I going to being reading The Hammer of Thor (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #2) by Rick Riordan next week

Some other book that I could read/ want to read are Killers of the Dawn (Cirque Du Freak, #9) by Darren Shan Seeing Redd (The Looking Glass Wars, #2) by Frank Beddor Lirael (Abhorsen, #2) by Garth Nix Land of Loss (Everworld, #2) by Katherine Applegate The Warrior Heir (The Heir Chronicles, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima The Exiled Queen (Seven Realms, #2) by Cinda Williams Chima The Foxhole Court (All for the Game, #1) by Nora Sakavic Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1) by Danielle L. Jensen

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) What letter do you think we should choose?

Did anyone else see we have a bonus guess?

message 217: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Yes, I think we should pick a vowel how about you?

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "Yes, I think we should pick a vowel how about you?"

That's what I was thinking. The most used vowel is E and A. Either one works for me. I'm leaning more towards E. What do you think?

message 219: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I think we should go with E then

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) How's everyone's reading going?

message 221: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Mine going ok, how's yours" What are you reading right now?

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "Mine going ok, how's yours" What are you reading right now?"

It's going pretty good. Right now I am reading A Heart for the Holidays (It's a review book) and The Vampire Lestat.

What are you reading?

message 223: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I'm reading His Majesty's Dragon, do you like Anne Rice? I've been tempted to read on but I'm hesitant.

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "I'm reading His Majesty's Dragon, do you like Anne Rice? I've been tempted to read on but I'm hesitant."

My mother loves Anne Rice. This is only my third book I've read by her. The first book I read I liked, Interview with the Vampire is okay, I'm liking this one just because I like Lestat a bit better than Louis who is in the Interview with the Vampire.

message 225: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Would you recommend the series?

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Yes I would. As much as I didn't like Interview with the Vampire it's necessary to read before The Vampire Lestat.

Louis is a bit boring but his story introduces Lestat.

message 227: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Cool I have to check it out!

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Just put in my review for A heart for the holidays. I guessed the letter T.

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I should be done with another book today. What letter should I guess?

message 230: by Siobhan (new)

Siobhan Quinlan | 45 comments I have 3 reviews to go up so ill do them tonight. What letters do you want me to pick?

message 231: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I think H would be a good choice

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) siobhan wrote: "I have 3 reviews to go up so ill do them tonight. What letters do you want me to pick?"

I'm going to go with H. Try M, N, and D. The quote might have those.

message 233: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments And possibly R

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I think I know the first word. It looks like We're.

message 235: by Siobhan (new)

Siobhan Quinlan | 45 comments Okay cool :) im almost done work so ill put then up then

message 236: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments We're or we've, and I'm pretty sure one of the words is "where"

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) We're, We've or We'll *_ _ _t*_ _ _ _ _* _ _* _ *where _ _*the * _ _ _.

So far this is what I have gathered.

message 238: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Same

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I think the last word is end.

message 240: by Melany (last edited Nov 19, 2016 06:36PM) (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I think the next letters we should guess are L, S or R

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I will have a review probably monday

message 242: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I'll try to get one by tomorrow, I have no Idea what this quote is

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Me either I tried for the whole day to figure it out and nothing.

message 244: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I have no idea what the third word is

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Me either

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) I have no idea what this quote is. Anyone else?

I just posted a review and guessed the letter W.

message 247: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments I think W was a good choice, but I still have no clue!

Jamie (The Kansan Reader) (thekansanreader) Melany wrote: "I think W was a good choice, but I still have no clue!"

I don't either. After you guessed S my guess on the quote went out the window and I am back at square 1. This one is hard.

message 249: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments For real any and all combinations I come up either don't make any sense or are not a quote!

message 250: by Melany (last edited Nov 21, 2016 09:49AM) (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments "_ _'r _ * _ _ st * _ _ _ _ r * _ n * _ * sh _ _ _, * _ n * th _ * _ n _."

So far it either
"We're * Vast * _ _ _ _ r * in/on * a * shock, * in * the * end."
"We're * Lost * _ _ _ _ r * in/on * a * shelf, * in * the * end."
"We're * Past * _ _ _ _ r * in/on * a * shell, * in * the * end."
"We're * Rest * _ _ _ _ r * in/on * a * sheep, * in * the * end."
"We're * Just * _ _ _ _ r * in/on * a * sheal, * in * the * end."
I have no idea
