Halloween is my favorite holiday. I'll get up early to put on a costume and dump glitter all over myself, but not for christmas presents.

But that's not even the most exciting thing about today...

I was going around town today and it was wonderful because everyone was dressed up and everyone loved my Neverseen cloak.

Okay, so most of my day went like this:

Person: Hey, what are you dressed up as?
Me: Character from a book you haven't read.
Person: Which book?
Me: Keeper of the lost cities.
Person: Oh. I'll have to read it sometime.

Except for my one Keeper-obsessed friend who literally just stood there shrieking for a couple minutes, and then spent the rest of the period stroking the purple handprint on my shirt and trying to steal the Pathfinders in my hair.

This year, not only did I make my Exillium uniform, but I also designed a pirate costume and a ... Ninja Koala costume.
And my sister was a boring cat. Which I did not help with because all it required was buying cat ears.

Well, a friend and I started a writing group in June or so and it's mostly writing and stuff. We're having a writing competition right now and today is the last day for entries. Here's the link :

And the genre varies. Sometimes we do Fantasy or Mystery too. The members can vote for which Genre they want to do for that month's story competition. So far it's been lots of fun!!! :D

Yeah no kidding! My Neverseen costume was pretty easy because I just needed to buy a black hooded cloak and white fabric to room onto it. But an Exillium uniform is pretty complicated!

Yeah, I also preordered it from Amazon Prime, and it's supposed to come tommorrow. (It probably won't be here til afterschool though....)

As for the costume! I'm going to give you a FULL DETAILED description of it, because you (kind of) asked, and because I am positively sick of no one knowing who I was. (I only have three friends who have read Keeper and one is only on book three and the other one was absent AGAIN and didn't get to see the costume.)

Anyways, I made this vest thing and instead of ribbon lacing I used an old necklace chain. Under that I had a long sleeve grey shirt with purple handprints on it, and I also had a Hydrokinetic pin thingy on the vest. I had a double stranded necklace with little crystal beads, and a black cloak.
I skipped the half mask, because I didn't feel like making another thing that I would only be able to wear to half of my parties anyway. (And I've been to like, six. Ridiculous, I know.)

Oh, and I had pathfinders stuck in my hair. I usually have pencils there, but I knew the pencils wouldn't match, so I made pathfinders to use instead so I wouldn't forget and put in pencils anyway.

Also, I put a TON of glitter in my hair. The first day I had spray on black hair coloring too, but I decided I don't like spray on hair coloring, so that was only the first day.
