Suggested
break down of reading so that you can check in and let us know how you're doing. The following breakdown is purely a suggestion and is therefore not set in stone.Rather than putting dates for each section I've done it so that it takes into account that not everybody will necessarily have the book at the same time.
Week 1: 23.00
Week 2: 23.00
Week 3: 23.00
Week 4: 23.00
Hello, can I join in? I have always wanted to read that book, even more since I visited the "Alice's shop" and followed Lewis Carroll's steps in Oxford this September :)Thanks!

Of course you can! I will add you to the list of participants!
I have finished Alice in Wonderland today and it is completely bonkers. I'm going to carry on and read Through the Looking Glass. Lots of it brought to mind images from the Disney animation but I think I might watch the more recent version to see how it compares.
Hi can I join this read! Also I'm a bit unsure of how each week has 23.00 on them. What does that represent? Thank you

Of course you can join! I will add you to the list of participants! FYI, 23.00 represents the suggested number of pages to be read each week but it is definitely only a suggestion!
I have started the book !! I picked up the book illustrated by Ralph Steadman! How is everyone else going with it
Aww that's so great, the illustrated book must be amazing! I'm reading the e-book version but I'm so sad I didn't find the one with illustrations. But I've seen a few in the Alice's shop in Oxford :)I'm reading extra slowly on my e-book reader, I just finished chapter 2.
Ooo lucky an Alice shop :OOO I am up to chapter five right now. I'm finding the language very unique. Surpised that children can read this book and understand it the whole time XD
Hello :) I had to put down the book for a while because I was too annoyed with Alice's character. I don't really know why but I found her really silly :p I want to finish the book so I started again after a little break. I'm just after the "Croquet with the Queen" part.
In a weird way I thought the most logical part was the Tea Party with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. Maybe I'm mad too :p
Being a non-native English speaker I think too that the language is unique (and so many songs and poems!) and I have some struggles sometimes.
What did you guys think of the book? =)
