ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) June 2014 Build Your Own Challenge
Duration: June 1 to June 30, 2014

What does June mean to you? Whatever it is, how about joining this Not Too Challenging Challenge to see how many books you can read that make you think of June!

You may choose a spell-it-out option, using the first letter of the author's first or last name, or the first letter of the first word in the book title. Or you can choose a cover item that represents June to you. Or, perhaps there is a subject that harkens memories or feelings of June, such as a wedding or graduation. Whatever works for you works for this challenge!

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) Well, I'm in. I am going to use inspiration from last year's challenge for the books I read. I'll get a list going later.

Sharlene (swegner) | 374 comments This sounds good. I will figure out a list. I know I have last year's Susan Mallery books, which I believe are all summer themed, as well as the new ones. At least they have summery covers! And also, the Beach House series from last year by Christy Ridgway. I have lots of other TBR's to choose from.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) Welcome, Sharlene! I have only read one Susan Mallery (so far) but you're right, her book covers all have a very summery feel to them.

message 7: by Greselley (new)

Greselley June indicates the start of school, the start of sleepless nights and the time to make yourself acquainted with Mr. Coffee again. It's the time to set aside and forget my addiction of reading pending novels and start reading loads of accounting books!

message 8: by Lisa Kay (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 4782 comments I had high hopes for June. Alas, the universe had other ideas. Maybe I can squeeze one more in before the end of the month.

Update Post #6 = 03/10

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) I had high hopes and the universe had other ideas, too, LK! I'll have to see if I read anything at all that fit this.

I need to get July's ready sometime in the next day!
