Now and then(don't ask how often), me and my buddy Harry potter aka Hajarath prasad, read a book together... which might take decades to complete, or sometimes months or days....

Against all odds, we do have done some successful buddy reads, the best being To kill a mocking bird , as the title indicates....

We'll update on our current reads and do join us for discussions if you are interested,.. :-)

REading update.: Finished 36% in Blood rites..

(view spoiler)[ Harry and the whites have been attacked by the black courts... and I have a doubt.. those 3 are vampires only right?? then y does harry call them as undead and walking corpse??? And I have one more doubt here... White court vampires feed on other peoples emotions and not blood.. what about black and red court?? I dont remember clearly from the last books..

Thankfully harry saved the two attacks meant for the two girls.. But I'm still wondering who's behind all these..!!! and how the movie shoot is related with the Raith family and white court???!!!

Is Inari sister of Lara???? Then why doesnt she know about the black court vampires? full of questions :-| - ___-

Dresden series is so far good... We re currently in 6th book.... will try to re-read with u next year...!!

finished the book manu :-) :-) (view spoiler)[ got all answers as you said,,,!!! So many shocking revelations in this book..!!!!! Thomas being harry's sibling, ebenezar an assasin..!!!! the revelation which made harry lose his purpose what he learnt of magic..! that was the worst one for me..!!!! the next surprising one was Lord Raith being without any power to feed because of Maggie's death curse..

As usual new magical characters got introduced in this book too..! Renfield, thrall,,, should have guessed the scene between Ebenezer and kincaid...!! the way the author gave so much precaution to their meeting..!!

The fact that the 3 ex-wives were behind the murders was sort of lame and obvious, but lord Raith manipulating them made it some sense...

The ending was bit flat... after all the efforts they put, mavra possibly not being the real mavra, demon coming back to life... seemed too much for me...

Overall I liked this book especially because of all those revelations and I liked the soulgaze part between harry and thomas....

I also liked Lara. felt bad when her illusion of daddy's favorite girl shattered.
