Sorry for being an annoying nitpicker, but it did NOT win "Man Booker Prize", nor even it was nominated or something (not sure, but I THINK translated works are not allowed for Man Booker Prize).
However, what it did win was "Man Booker International Prize", which is kinda different from the original Man Booker Prize, although both are awarded by the same Man Group.
That's it. Now, carry on ;)

Will wait for your review of Vegetarian..

Finished DoW and Only you with manu during the weekend...
Liked DoW . It was an unusual fantasy story with lots of scientist and historical references... But eventhough with lots of info, the story still felt like finished prematurely.. I liked the way the Vampires were more described close to predators. I'm in for reading the next part whenever you both want to..!!
Only you was good, funny with the guy trying to bring up a 2 month old infant...
84% done in Come tell me how you live... It's a slow read but anyways different and I'm liking it...
Didn't read anything else during the weekend... Will try to start Great hunt and promise of blood/champion today....

Nothing much
This is one of the finest books based on Mahabharata already. I was always disappointed with the books based on Mahabharata because they hardly said anything new. The drama, the perspectives, the narrative, they were all just the same. But this is vastly different from other books in all the above. I read one book about Draupadi earlier, but it started after she was married to Pandavas. But this one is so refreshing because the narrative starts right from the beginning of her life. And the drama and the situations are conceived in a different way too. Which helped in more drama than that was there in Mahabharata sometimes.
Stunning, stunning writing.

Will also start Promise of blood which we are reading with manu today... She already started...

BS??

Oops :-P okay... I thought it's abbreviation of series name :-P

pleech."
:-D That's a sweet request... I still don't understand much the bingo challenge... I'm in if you can explain that to me :-)
