Rebecca - Murder in Murray Hill does not seem to fit "And the Winner Is". It was nominated for an Agatha but did not win. For this task, the book has to win a mystery award.

You signed up for Morning Glory. You've read several more books than that! I'll move you up to Smart Cookie.

I don't like the romantic suspense genre in general because of all the sex content, so I understand how you're feeling, Anna Catharina! I had a tough time finding a book I think I may remotely enjoy, so I am going to put that task last on my list.

message 132: by Anna Catharina (new)

Anna Catharina Julesy wrote: I don't like the romantic suspense genre in general..."

Thanks :)
I never read any romantic suspense mystery so I expect a nice mystery with a little bit romance. But there was so much explicit sex content... don't know why this is called romantic?

The task list includes themes you may not have read before. That's part of the challenge. You may like a new author or theme or you may decide that it's not your cup of tea. Since each level is a range, you don't have to complete every task.

Post from Meg:

I've really enjoyed this challenge and met a few new authors too. I'm sight impaired so I rely on books provided by The Library of Congress Service for The Blind and Handicapped. One of the best things about these recordings is that they are never abridged.
I'm happily worn out with all this reading and will now get down to the business of baking gingerbread and reading Dickens.
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and fun finish to this literary year.
