What Time Is It And What Are You Doing?
Its freezing here in portland oregon. Its almost 9 30 am and I am thinking of breakfast, messing around on goodreads
1145am sitting in bed, still recovering from surgery. Reading GR and lots of e-mail I've missed in the last few days.

12:38 PM Was just on YouTube looking for the opening sequence of the 1953 version of THE WAR OF THE WORLDS for another thread elsewhere on GR.I wish I could listen to this. Threw my newest pair of headphones out because the wires had started poking through, even though I've owned them less than 2 weeks! Just another damned reason to HATE ear buds!

What part?
Sandy *The world could end while I was reading and I would never notice* wrote: "What part?"Right in the middle - Derbyshire. What about you - in which part of NZ are you?
10:31 am wishing I brought my book to work because there is nothing going on here. The phone hasn't even rang once. Going to get my headphones and listen to my book.
It's 7:39 am PST - I'm listening to Morning Edition on NPR and watching the first snowfall of the year.
6:06 pm (or 18:06 if you prefer) - listening to blues music (John Lee Hooker) and goofing around online.

almost right in the middle of the north island, not far from the world famous Waitomo Caves.
It's 5:37 PM central standard time and I just set aside the book I've been reading (Bad Chemistry by Gary Krist) and I'm about to heat up some sweet-and-sour chicken for dinner.
4:40pm Feeling lonely and settling in with my book and checking in with my Goodreads community. It's a cold day here in Alberta, Canada.
I've had a good birthday. Very nearly over as it's nearly midnight and thankful for all the good thoughts I got every where. :)
12:10am Eastern Standard Time. NY. Thanksgiving. Reading myself to sleep. Disciples: The World War II Missions of the CIA Directors Who Fought for Wild Bill Donovan. Got it as a free download from Jellybooks. After each chapter I sync with them. Then do a review afterward. A reading study. Good book. The title says it all.

Vera wrote: "11:57 and I just bought 4 more ebooks on Amazon. My TBR list just keeps getting longer and longer."16:15 I just had three more invitations to read books by great authors - just can't say no when they're already favourites of mine! I'm still getting my tbr pile lower and enjoying reading!
I'm just waiting for my daughter to come home for the weekend (and my son tomorrow) to help my hubby celebrate his birthday. Belated birthday wishes to you Janet. :)

My TBR is growing exponentially. So many good books!
Diane Lynch wrote: "My TBR is growing exponentially. So many good books! ..."Agree, there seem to be more than ever brilliant books around at the moment. I'm actually getting my tbr pile lower at the moment, - until I can't resist and I'm tempted to get more books again!
It's seven a.m. on a Saturday. I'm checking my emails, watching the news, playing a video game on-line, and reading Goodreads.
It's a bit after 9 am on a Saturday and I'm drinking coffee and daydreaming. I'm getting 2 kittens today- very excited!
10:05 AM Wishing I'd asked for THREE or FOUR to-go boxes at St. Luke's on Thanksgiving. I'm almost out of food until Tuesday.
12:51 PM Still wishing I had some food I could prep. Everything I have in my pantry calls for milk and butter, both of which I am out of.
Opening mail and filing........planning menus.......want to go home and sit in my garden and read. *:(
