At least in America, I think a lot of us have watched enough movies to know what it sounds like. I believe Ern and Stan have a cockney (?) accent. And when we think of British accents it's either that or the super posh one. We really don't know the in between ones.

To be honest the posh accent is probably the one you hear the least. Anywhere you go in the UK there is always a lot of different accents. I am in Liverpool so we have people from all over
